Great paddle, needs a couple of tweeks.
I have 2 Stage double ended paddles. One is the full carbon (including blades) and one is the aluminum with PP-F blades. You want to add kayak paddle drip cups or the water from the blade up in the air runs down to your hands affecting your grip. I also added grip tape where I hold the paddle for comfort and warmth on cold days. I also put a mark on one of the clamp ends so as to easily align the two ends with the proper twist like a kayak paddle. I would also suggest that you loosen the clamps when not in use. I had to periodically retighten the clamp screws due to the material creep before I started doing this.By far, the biggest difference in feeling between the two types is the carbon fiber blades. The added weight at the ends makes the one with PP-F blades much more unwieldy. The difference in the aluminum vs carbon shafts is much less because the added weight is more centered. I think the ideal option would be to have aluminum shafts and carbon blades which, by my reconning, should come in about $250 and have nearly the performance of the full carbon model. Just saying.

Awesome Paddle!
This paddle is a great invention. Construction seems to be very high quality. The carbon fiber model is extremely lightweight. It is a nice change not having to switch from side to side with each stroke. I paddled much faster and did not get tired after a long days trip. This would be a must for anyone planning to have another person, or a dog onboard.

Junk
This this is almost $500 is very flexable made in china quality. The bonding is crappy. It is NOT all carbon fiber. The top of the handle is crappy plastic and isn't even pushed all the way in. I can't stress enough how poor the quality is. COMPLETE JUNK!

Paid for new and got used. Pathetic
Can't waste time returning but absolutely disgusted knowing I paid full price for someone else's return and guessing they returned it because the paddles fit together loose. Nice enough product otherwise

Not adjustable when converted to a kayak paddle. However, decided I like it after using it.
Planned to send back as I need an adjustable paddle. When I called to return it — they asked me to try it out. Did so. Ended up keeping it as it worked very well for me despite the limited adjustability. Was actually surprisingly good; however, I have long arms.
