This book cost me $4.95. Yet, it could easily be worth $15 to $20. It is detailed, concise, and easy to understand. No lie, (and price point aside) one of the best audio books I've read.

Really good read and reference to go back to. If you are starting to get out good at home recording, then this book is for you. I learned a lot ... Best read it you've mixed a few songs, you'll appreciate it more from a practical putting it into use perspective. I recommend everyone who wants to mix and master read this, you'll learn something that will save your mix I guarantee it.

It uses cubase for specific examples but it's written generally enough to apply to a different DAW.Unfortunately it has a formatting problem with an annoyingly large amount of white space between paragraphs.

Después de imaginar que debía de existir un libro en donde se explicaran con mayor detalle algunos términos que son confusos para un principiante, así como que tuviera recomendaciones acerca de por dónde empezar, encontré este libro que me aclaró varios conceptos que otras fuentes no explican y con tips muy valiosa para comenzar. Definitivamente, muy recomendable.

This is an excellent little book. It tells you exactly what you need to know about the core effects for mixing and mastering. Aimed at any level of experience there is no waffle.
