The Big Book of HR, Revised and Updated Edition

This book has been super helpful for me as I am just starting out in the HR world. It's a great reference to have in your library to look at on when you are unsure of something, or even to just refresh your memory on a specific topic. It also provides other great resources for you to check out, outside of the book itself.

I am completely new to the Human Resources role. This is great beginning introduction to the many areas.

This is a great book for any HR professional however, there is no chapter dedicated to diversity or equity. As a HR professional diversity is an important aspect of HR.

Easy to read, good information, helpful as a prep tool and a reference resource

I am currently finishing up my HR Management degree and also work in an HR department. This book has been great for both areas! Very helpful, and this will be useful to help study for the PHR exam.

Very good book for HR professionals.

I did type in UK HR books and this came up but upon reading I quickly saw that this is based on American employment law/HR and so I don’t want to get confused. Unfortunately I have to return this book which is a shame but it’s not suitable.

Great Book. Ideal to beginners with BIG responsibilities. It was very useful for conducting an HR audit in California, US.
