Love this tool lanyard
Well built and sturdy bungee, no fear of the lanyard breaking if I drop my saw. Works well with my small battery chainsaw. Picture is not accurate as I purchased the 1 with a ring & hook vs. 2 rings.

It's a typical Weaver Leather product.
It's made by Weaver Leather. It's exactly as described and exactly what I needed. The only thing I would change is the color. It's a bit pinkish and clashes with my saddle lol.As with everything I've bought from Weaver Leather it's a high quality product.I've read some people don't like the location of the ring but I strongly disagree with them. If you girth hitch the loop to your saw and have the snap somewhere on your saddle the ring is great with a biner to attach to a caritool which shortens the distance to your saw when switching hands or pulling a quick reposition. I find leaving the ring and biner clipped to my caritool when climbing the saw will get snagged going over limbs and through crotches. So climbing I like the length as it hangs a low enough below my feet where it doesnt usually get hung up on anything. In the rare case that the saw does get hung up the lanyard is not too long to reach the saw.For taller climbers it may be a bit short but it's perfect for me at 5'9".

Buy 2
Works like it should. But the trees shred it quick. One last about 2 weeks of climbing. But for 20. Not bad. Will buy more.

Just hanging out.
Tree climbing for 25 years and used to make my own. I wanted something I could just clip on and go. Some of the info on this unit said this length had a snap on the anchor (saddle) end but it is a ring just like the picture. The built in bungee will take a little shock out of a dropped saw however it also makes the length shorter and if you have long arms you may run out of strap before making it to your cut. I will be putting a locking carabiner on the anchor ring since my saddle has a ring and i use the clip end for my working load. Unit is well made and shouldn't give any surprises during use or belayment.

Ordered the 30" Orange 'Hook, Ring, and Loop' model. Functions as intended, but metal looks a little rough....
Usually 'Weaver Leather' products fit and finish are top-notch (such as their arborist saddles and such). But this one? Not so much. The one I received may just be a fluke, but the brass-colored hookclip looks like it was poured in a casting that hasn't been cleaned/de-slag'd in months and has a hard time swiveling 360deg. (may be designed that way), and the chromed ring is not welded, but simply bent and ends pushed to meet each other (however that also may be designed to break away). Should break-in and work just fine though. It is, however, satisfactory in utility and function designed for - holding your chainsaw to your belt. I just have a higher benchmark to compare to from all the other excellent Weaver products I have received. Stitching is excellent and bungee works great - seems long enough it can reach out as far as you can, and also clear your feet if you swing it down or drop your saw.Inside Eye(loop) to Inside Eye(hook) clocks in at 33.5" unstretched(keep in mind that is without loop wrapped onto itself around the saw handle or beltloop). I can get ~46" if I really pull on it and stretch it out. Inside diameter of metal ring is ~1.825". Inside of loop is ~5.75"

Good piece of gear
I like this thing. I really like the second ring to clip the saw right to the biner on my climbing belt. I could have used one a bit longer for reaching out with my support hand but that's my fault for ordering one this short. I would recommend a longer length to anyone who doesn't just cut on their strong side

Awesome bungee! No complaints! Works very well with my top handle Echo chainsaw. Real life saver!

A very basic lanyard.
If you are someone who cuts through their chainsaw lanyard 2-3 times a year, this is and affordable, disposable tool lanyard. Also appropriate for high-fouling applications such as painting at heights where tools need to be secured and you’ll probably throw the thing away at the end of the job. Wouldn’t count on the ripcord in the nylon sleeve to last more than 24 months.

i almost thought it was fake.
i've had these before but this one was so thin compare to past ones i have from weaver a bit thicker in width. thats why it looked fake almost something to thin but after using it see ms to do the job.
