This was a replacement for an older model that I can’t find after a move. The dual beams give you a bigger area comparison and averaged together to give more accurate results. Personally I didn’t like the IR on as it is hard to know for sure exactly what you are on target of. Gun feels fairly solid and is lightweight. Not sure how it would hold up after a decent size drop. Trigger feel is good and temperature is reported fast. I don’t have a problem with the unit continuing to measure temperature after trigger was released like reported a few places online. Would be nice to have a storage bag but I guess for the price I can’t complain. I would buy again.

I recently got my hands on the ThermoPro TP450 Dual, and it's quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. It's super easy to use and feels really well-made, which is always a plus. I've been using it for both cooking and my pizza oven, and it's been performing great.The buttons and functions are pretty intuitive, and the detailed manual is a big help if you need it. One thing I really love is the fast readout speed—no more waiting around to see if my food is at the right temperature.That said, the battery life could use some improvement. It doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, but it's a minor inconvenience considering how well the thermometer works overall.All in all, the ThermoPro TP450 Dual is a solid tool for any cooking enthusiast. I definitely recommend it!

I bought this to use with my recent Pizza Oven purchase but have found so many other uses for it as well. Prime example; our kid's bedroom gets a fair amount hotter in the summer than any other room in the house. Using this I was able to determine where exactly the heat was coming from and then fix it. Gun is very accurate and temperatures updated FAST on the screen. Highly recommend picking this one up!

This is an absolute must have if you’re cooking on a griddle. Temperature control is imperative depending on what you’re cooking. This infrared thermometer is very accurate and easy to use.

Works exactly as advertised. I have other products from this company and am well pleased. I had 2 occasions to call customer service. They responded timely and rectified the situation, even though one product was out of warranty. Very good company to do business with.
