The plastic fitting is bad
Installed this and had a terrible leak from the plastic fitting inside the form fitted pipe. Dissected the pipe and found the plastic fitting had a terrible void in the seam which created the leak. Heated and reused the plastic piece from my factory bypass and all is well now.

Poor quality
The item is nowhere as good as original. The plastic elbow is so thin it cracked attaching it to the water pump. I ended up using the old one since it was still good - I was replacing it because of the age of the hose.
