Excellent Spitfire
As a confirmed Lego buyer and builder I don't buy imitations but given that Lego don't make a Spitfire, I couldn't resist this. So glad I did - an excellent model which I really enjoyed making. Brilliant quality and clear instructions, and a beautifully designed Spitfire. Some pieces are very different to Lego, so takes a little time to get used to the bricks. Loved it - highly recommended.

Excellent lego alternative
I love lego, buy the fact they do not make historical war vehicles always annoyed me. This was my first Cobi purchase, after much research. It was great fun to build, the instructions were not always clear, but got there in the end. Will be purchasing more Cobi products very soon.

Came across Cobi products by chance,bought a little jeep model and havent looked back since.its far far superior to lego,cobi Titanic is stunning,Spitfire likewise. Next will be the Memphis belle,Enterprise,then missouri.The quality of the pieces are superior to lego in feel and colour range ,and shape.Anyone who reads this,do youself a favour and buy one.

Parts missing
In theory this is great - it's complicated enough to assemble to occupy your time and looks sturdy, however (and it's a big however), there were a number of parts missing from my kit which means it was a waste of money. I didn't buy it to half complete it, and such is the relevancy of each part, it means I'm stuck with a half built spitfire and a great deal of annoyance and frustration. I wouldn't recommend it for this reason, which is a shame as I'd looked forward to building a series of these kits.
