Variety Pack

These seeds are wonderful. I have a super high tolerance for heat and by that I mean I pickle scorpion, ghost and reaper peppers and grind it all up in the ninja. I have some of that pretty much everyday with meals. I also have the same dried into a powder that I keep with me when I’m out. Saying that, I can’t really speak to the heat of these for normal people other than to say they scratch my daily snack heat itch. The flavoring does collect at the bottom of the bag, so if you want a burst of flavor just turn the bag upside down and shake before eating. Or just discard the residual salt and flavoring, if you prefer, to reduce your salt intake even more. Admittedly, I have indulged in a mouthful of flavor at the end of a bag. This pack size is perfect for me. I tried the smaller variety pack and I finished them in a week. I recommend getting that first to figure out which flavor you prefer. They were all really good but the hatch chile was my favorite.

I eat sunflower seeds religiously almost every night while I read or watch a show. I was so tired of only being able to eat a few handfuls before the salt was too much, so I looked for a different option. No salt options were not fun at all to eat. Then I found Chinook. These seeds are awesome. I can eat a whole bag and my mouth is fine. The shells are large and easy to crack. The seed itself is flavorful. The flavors are pretty good for the salt content, but honestly the OG is my favorite. I’ve been buying Chinook in 12 packs for over a year now, overdue for a review. Thanks for filling a massive void for seed lovers.

I have purchased the full case of these Chinook BBQ sunflower seeds three times now, which should say a lot on its own. The flavor is consistently good and not overpowering, with a solid balance of smoky and savory. I am a big snacker and tend to eat when I am bored, so these have been a fantastic healthier alternative compared to chips or sweets. They keep my hands busy and are surprisingly satisfying, which makes it easier to avoid less nutritious options. Freshness has been consistent across all cases I have ordered, and the quality has not dropped at all between purchases. If you are looking for a flavorful snack that feels a bit more mindful without sacrificing taste, these are an easy recommendation.

These are the worst sunflower seeds I've ever purchased. Not only are they tasteless, but many are just empty shells. The majority are quite small and for them to be advertised as "Jumbo" is false advertising. I'm very disappointed and if I could return them I would. As it stands, they will become bird food.

Best seeds in the world. The seeds they use taste so much better than the bigger brands. It’s hard to go back. Less saltiness is great if you eat a lot of seeds it doesn’t hurt your mouth. Jalapeño ranch is the most flavorful. Chinook is a great company also. I had great interactions with them on social media they even sent me a shirt.

I ordered every flavor except original and the 2 dairy flavors--jalapeño ranch, parmesean & pepper--due to my lactose intolerance. My hands down favorite is dill pickle. Lightly salted but well seasoned and perfect for someone like me who will eat an entire 4oz bag in one sitting. My runner up, surprisingly, is cinnamon toast. Which has a nice salty note I wasn't expecting and truly is reminiscent of buttery cinnamon toast. From now on, those will be the 2 flavors I order for myself. My teenaged son is a fan of the hatch chile. He commandeered the entire box of 12 bags, once we opened and tasted the first bag of hatch chile. LoL I happily obliged since, like all the remaining flavors that weren't among my 2 aforementioned favorites, are too sugar forward for my liking. (I'm a salt (and hot & spicy) person. Never really been a fan of sweet. So even though the sugar maybe admissible for most folks, the sweetness stood out too much to me.) The lemon pepper definitely tastes like a well-balanced marinade that would be cooked with...as opposed to an outright lemony-peppery bite. I'm not a lemon pepper fan at all, so I wasn't expecting to like the flavor but was pleasantly surprised by Chinook's lemon pepper season blend; and I think it could be a winner for anyone who isn't seeking a heavily polar lemon or pepper taste. The smokehouse bbq isn't bad but bcz of the sweet front note is not for me. Between Amazon and chinookseedery.com, I spent quite a bit on my first delve into Chinook seeds; and though, of 5 flavors, 2 were a total bust for me due to the sweetness I could taste in the flavors: The quality of not only the seeds but the ingredients is apparent AND well worth the money. I gave away all the lemon pepper and smokehouse bbq I purchased. Which works out well since I'm sure Chinook will have some new customers as a result...lol These seeds are superior. And they are *not* over-salted while simultaneously managing well-balanced, full, satisfying flavors. You've just gotta find your flavor! Highly recommend and will buy again.

Great tasting seeds, very low sodium, every bag appears to be fresh. I have switched from David to these.

I love these seeds. They are never too salty and they have a distinctive flavor yet they are not too much at all. They are my favorite!!
