Beware of quality of vinyl
So this is the second vinyl this seller has sent out to me and over all itβs terrible quality the way the vinyls are handled, it comes with spider scratches all over causing static. After listening to the same song online there is 100% difference in quality, I love this artist but not the vinyl. Since I am stuck with this just know you might get a good quality vinyl or not, my main issue is on side b the first song.

A genuine talent
I picked this up when I found out that Sampha was involved in Solange's album A Seat At The Table (a brilliant album if you've not had the chance to pick it up). That was enough for me and I'm glad I took the plunge. This is the kind of album that you can listen to with the speakers set to max or through some headphones for a more intimate experience. The album has some great individual tracks (Plastic 100Β°C, (No One Knows Me) Like The Piano and Incomplete Kisses to name just three) but the beauty of this set is that it works well as a complete piece.I can't wait to see what Sampha does next but in the meantime, this is a fantastic introduction to a very talented artist. If you get a chance to see him live then do yourself a favour. Recommended.

Processing Sampha
I heard this CD for the first time in April at a juice bar in New York. I asked the guys working there who it was and they said Sampha. I looked him up, found Process and bought a copy. Then I bought two more copies to send to friends. There are 10 songs on this CD, each written, arrangedand performed by Sampha with some sampling and a little help from his friends. Each song flows into the next and each is a stand alone work of art. Sampha blends r&b, electronic and soul music into something totally unique and personal. I have played this CD 20 or 30 times and I hear something new every time. And every time I am touched by his musical genius.

Thank my soul for Sampha
This album is so special. I love his piano, but I also love the rest of the production. Incomplete Kisses is my jam. 100o C and Reverse Faults are also standouts for me. I've listened to the vinyl record once and so far it seems like good quality.

Bold, Essential, New
A solid pressing of a fantastic album. Worth it just for the picture of Sampha and his Mom on the inner sleeve; she'd be proud of him.The Music: cuts me deep, makes me dance, makes me weep. Don't sleep on this one. This is definitely R&B, but with gobs of confidence and experimentation, I even hear a bit of Panda Bear in there sometimes. Also: the tracks are sequenced perfectly for the flip, get this one on vinyl.

My purchased cd album of Sampha's Process.
I have purchased Sampha's debut album Process yesterday and received it in the mail/post today. Yesterday, as I was watching television series Queen Sugar, season 3 episode 9, the song "What Shouldn't I Be?" was featured as a snippet; I had immediately loved the music composition. So I had researched to hear the full song on the Internet but hardly any luck. So I decide to purchase this album based on the snippet I loved. Now I have just finished listening to the complete album and I have to say it is wonderful especially the music composition of each song. Sampha would be a great music producer! However I was quickly turned off by Sampha's vocals/singing. I suggest not much singing in the future, just let your music do it for you. Minor vocals by Sampha in a couple of songs actually work, more like the talking parts however the actual singing I don't like it.Besides that, there are songs on this album that have a nice sound to them which I can hear being played even in the future as this album matures. So please definitely stick with mostly just being a music producer and musician (similar to Robert Glasper, and Nicolay from The Foreign Exchange duo which I really enjoy these two music producers and one is a musician), definitely showcase your sounds/music compositions but feature singers and vocalists on the next album please.I give 4 out of 5 stars.

His debut album is one of the best albums of 2017 so far
I discovered him thanks to his collabs with Drake, Solange and Frank Ocean. His debut album is one of the best albums of 2017 so far. Amazing voice, great lyrics and great instrumentals.
