After a few months I fell in love
The ergonomic shape of these lighters is absolutely perfect, they feel amazing in your hand. The texture feels like hard plastic but with a slight rubbery texture. Between the ergonomics and the texture I really liked them when I first grabbed one.The adjustment of the flame is a little limited, and you can't just pop the metal top off and skip a tooth with the adjuster like you can with other adjustable flame lighters. The solution i came up with was to pop the metal cap off and then cut the adjuster off short enough to fit back under the cap where it can move further without the cap blocking it and get the extra range out of the flame adjustment. Its harder to reach once you cut it short but you can still adjust it with a pick tool or something similar.I had trouble filling these lighters when I first got them too. When fueling them you need to push the tip of the fuel can in until it won't go any further and then they fuel up perfectly. Just push harder.Of my 5 pack so far 2 of the flints went out after about 2 refills, but changing them is super easy once you get it down. They engineered a nice striker mechanism to make changing flints as easy as it could be. You don't need to take the black metal cap off the lighter, just pry the bottom of the round striker straight up and the mechanism slides out. You don't have to take the round striker out. The bottom half of the plastic mechanism pops off if you REALLY pull on it. The spring is attached to the bottom half so you just drop a new flint into the upper half of the mechanism and slide the spring back on from underneath. It couldn't be any easier.Grab a pack of cheap flints (350 for $7), I actually like these better than the flints they come with:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BWT7NG1JI finally found a quality replacement for Bic lighters.

It's a refillable lighter.
Feels good in the hand.Avoid the zippo refill fuel, nozzles is to small.

Pretty nice lighters
I like these. I wish either they put longer flints in them, or make them replaceable. If you can't replace the flint, they're toast.

Do not work well
These have been by far the worst lighters we have ever had. Always used Ronson fluid but will leak out severely when trying to fill, did find generic fluid to work. All of the lighters light about every 3rd to 5th try. Does not matter what fluid, what flame setting, even tried new flints.

Beats every brand in every way
These are really premium lighters. I first stumbled upon the brand at a local bodega and had to buy more. The coating on the outside of the lighter is a great non-slip feel that doesn't scratch. The lighter is easy to refill, without the annoying fitting problems that clippers have. The removable flint/poker is a bit tough to get out, but it's really not something you will likely be doing often. No safety on the slider either, which makes it very easy to strike. You even get flame size control! These will last you much longer than normal lighters, and for about the same price.

They are only ok
The wheel mechanism feels really flimsy. The height adjustability is terrible. I've bought MK lighters in my town but they didn't have adjustable flame - and they worked great. The flame on the 3 I've used so far is so low when you first use them you'd think they were running out. (See pic, its a new one) I bought a 5 pack with high hopes. I love the feel & shape but it matters very little indeed when the flame borders on useless. I was really disappointed.

Finally!
I have been watching my wife throw lighter after lighter in the trash for years. That wasn't good. After years I took immediate action and started searching. The first I found was the well known and highly rated Clipper lighters. So I bought a set of them. Worked until they didn't work. Thought it may be the fuel, so I purchased some ultra ultra ultra, etc, pure fluid. Nope. Maybe the flints I had where at issue? Grabbed a new starter stem from an spare that had a unused original flint. No difference. Gave up. Anyway, the striker wheel hurts my thumb! Then I bought a Zippo that used butane and produced a flame (no torch). Works great! But it wasn't as convenient as a Bic.I was ready to give in to the Bic trash monster when I saw these MK's. Took one more chance and I LOVE them. Been using one for the past few weeks. It's like a Bic but with a nicer feel in the hand. Works great with the fuel and flints I already had. The striker wheel was a lot more comfortable then the Clipper, saving my thumb from unnecessary pain. One issue we found was that unlike a Bic, the nice feel coating does easily melt off the lighter if you pack with the corner.
