Excellent product, perfect customer service from LEAP
With a wide range of options out there, I'm very pleased with my choice of LEAP (black). It's easy to use, light for travel, and looks solid and well-made - not plasticky and cheap. Six stars all round go to Mina in LEAP office's customer services who got in touch with me when I expressed concern about delivery timings, and reassured me that the timer would be with me in the deadline I needed. And it was. Excellent customer service that has won a committed customer here. I wouldn't hesitate to work directly with LEAP again.

Sleek, satisfying and easy to use
Let's start with looks. This clock is a sleek, subtle design. I went for the green colour which is perfect for me because it doesn't stand out. I wanted a clock that was functional but I could leave out on the table without upsetting my partner. This really fits the bill.In terms of functionality, it has everything one could ask for from a chess clock. You can easily set the time to count down from. Leaving both players with the same time seems fairly standard practice, but the clock also allows for differences in player's allocated time. I suppose this is useful when you have players of different skill levels when trying to give one a handicap or leg up.The build quality is fantastic. Although made of a lightweight plastic (could be weightier), the part that you interact with the most (the rocker switch) is incredibly satisfying to press. It makes a lovely but subtle thud as it comes down and really brings a new dimension to ending your turn. One downside is that no batteries are included.

Very good for the money
While it's a very good chess clock and easy to set up and use it does seem to lack some features of the FIDE type (and more expensive) clocks. Eg, they have various common times stored in them and these can be seen on the bottom of the device. This on the other hand seems to lack that, but it's certainly good enough for most club players. It supports pretty well anysensible time plus increment and also allows different times for each player if required which is why I got it. However, I haven't found a way of adding extra time after 40 moves for example. Worth the money though.

Great customer service
The product is well presented but the digits started flickering after 2 months. We wrote a review and the seller offered full refund or replacement promptly. Very happy with the service

Poor Packaging
I bought this as part of a birthday gift for my brother who loves chess. And the box quality was so poor I feel too embarrassed to give it to him as it doesn’t look like I bought it new. Very disappointed
