QUANTUM COMPUTING

Better to stick with standard sources. Someone studying for the first time will get confused. Seveeal places notations introduced later are used earlier. Use Susskind for understanding basics of quantum mechanics for quantum computing. No better clear introduction than that.

I'm in a journey to master Quantum Computing. I bought many books (all available) and read total or partially most of thme. In my oppinion this is best organized book and summary book, it is concise and straight to the point. It is true that are minor typographical errors, but this do not affect the understanding of the content. I'm not a physicist and some of the concepts I best understood in this book .. Like the Dirac Notation. Other books do not go straight to the point which sometimes make difficult. My congratulations to the author.

A good introductory book but with many typos on key formulas or terms, which makes the book hard to understand for beginners

This book is a self-contained, readable, and brief introduction to quantum computing It requires no prior knowledge of linear algebra, quantum physics, or classical computing theory. It contains detailed explanations for several quantum algorithms, including Grover's search algorithm and Shor's factoring algorithm. However, it contains several errors. The author states (incorrectly) that orthogonal matrices are always symmetric, and he makes the same assertion regarding Hermitian and unitary matrices. Astonishingly, he claims that a computer stores each bit as the charge of an electron, with the value 0 represented by an "uncharged" electron.This book could be valuable if it were carefully edited, but I cannot recommend this book at present.

Very disappointing and if it wasn't enough, the price was beyond it worth it.
