This iron cover really protects your clothes from being burned and ruined. I was skeptical and debating between iron press pad but ultimately choose the iron over for convenience and ease of use. It's easy to attach and I've ironed slacks and over plastic zipper without excessive heat melting the fabric.

The product works well. If I were to conduct a quality assurance analysis, it would include making the eyelets more durable for attaching the items to the iron via the spring. Another recommendation would include attempting to devise a way to increase the amount of steam that emits from the shield.

It would not stay on iron. Fell apart. Just junk

Challenging to put on, side grommets pop out so the plastic tears. I have had two do the same thing.

I still use my mom's iron from the 80s, and when the plate started to get scuffed I didn't want to part with it. This fits great and it's not in the way when using the iron.
