Brilliant little crock!
I had a slow cooker a few years ago, a HUGE 6.5l behemoth with a ceramic pot that was impossible to clean and fantastically heavy. In the end, it was just too unwieldy and I gave it away - but have missed the one-pot cooking ability ever since. This little number, firstly, is beautiful to look at. I ordered the one in black and rose and it's a really, really lovely little thing to look at and have on my kitchen side.I am still surprised and delighted by how light the crock pot is inside and how much of a difference it makes to be able to take it out, fry on the hob then drop it right back into the slow cooker (which I've left heating up so there's no drop in temp as the pot is replaced). It still has a decent capacity - 3.5l is a good amount to cook, though no more huge freezer binge cooks unless I don't also serve what I'm cooking for dinner.Small problems. It heats up quickly enough, and I also really love the "medium" setting, which is, so far, where I've left it for the majority of the time. And when you're done, it cleans up SUPER fast and without any need to scrub. So far we've made 2 soups and one stew, each one a major success with my 15 year old son who has finally decided to come and cook with me.Amazon wants me to review "flavour", but I find that's a silly thing to review as either they're asking me to review my cooking, your cooking or what the thing itself tastes like. It's a fabulous little slow cooker and will easily feed a hungry family of 4. We're genuinely thrilled with it - right now it's full of French Onion soup that we made early this morning ready for lunch later. :)

Food tastes better.
Excellent product. The wife loves it, and that is good enough for me. Highly recommend. Sear and Stew: Sear your ingredients in the hob-proof pot (not suitable for induction hobs) on the stove, then add back into your slow cooker to bubble away until rich, delicious, and ready to serve.Versatile Cooking: Thanks to our 3-heat settings—low, medium, and high—you can cook at your own pace. The transparent lid allows you to monitor meal progress, while the lightweight pot provides effortless dishing up.

Well sized, easy to clean truly slow cooker
I've owned slow cookers since I was in my teens, my first being a Tower which could safely be left on all day and produced lovely food.Since then I found many brands cooked at too high a temperature, boiling the contents and defeating the purpose of slow cooking. This model has no timer, only low, medium, high settings. On low it barely bubbles and to me offers the perfect solution for leaving a stew or curry on for a whole day while you're out at work.I love the size, which caters for one to six servings comfortably and copes perfectly with few or many ingredients.I never come home to stew akin to a plate of soup though I acknowledge that it takes practise to judge how much liquid you need to add to achieve best results.Personally I'd never use a slow cooker for making soup which I can make manually in 40 minutes so I can't comment on that, nor would I choose to use it for solely vegetable cookery for the same reason. I use mine for meats, beans and pulses that benefit from long slow cooking.I don't find this model takes up too much room so it's a permanent resident on the worktop. I like the oval bowl and that bowl is metal and very light. It's very easy to clean. Bought for cooking while I'm out I always use the low setting because it's gentle and doesn't cause liquid to evaporate fast.I've used it for lamb curries, chicken casseroles, beef ragout, chilli, pork shoulder, chickpea and sweet potato stew, sausage casserole, stovies, and white puddings with onions and potatoes. All have worked really well.I've never experienced lack of flavour like some other reviewers. I have with a pressure cooker but never with a slow cooker. I find my slow cooker recipes more flavourful than stovetop cooking (provided you've seasoned well enough at outset) and I minimise the liquid added which avoids arriving home to a mush.Good luck with this model if you decide to try it. I use this at least three times a week. It's a thumbs up from me.

Lovely pot but too big
A very fine looking pot that is miles too big for us. Husband ordered it thinking bigger is better when it’s for two! This would do a large family and look great in the kitchen from cooking to table. Sadly I had to return it as our days of large family cooking are past.Well packaged, speedy delivery and excellent return & refund. I highly recommend it, but not for two old folk with small appetites

A good choice
I have used this several times, now, and am very happy. I also like that it is lighter than my previous ceramic crockpot, and that it is dishwasher friendly. The settings seem accurate, and it is very easy to use.

Love my slow cooker
Great slow cooker wish I had known about these whilst I worked. Has heat setting options, light indicator and easy instructions.Nice shape and colour looks good on counter top, fits in cupboard for storage.Capacity to cook for 6 people, I use for two people and batch cook meals.Unbelievable ability to cook delicious meals, enhanced taste and texture of meat and chicken dishes. Only down side is the house smells of the gorgeous food as it cooks and makes you hungry feel lolIf you haven’t tried a slow cooker I fully recommend it.
