good for the money
good for the money good compromise between strength and weight. a sturdier kennel would cost a lot more and weigh so much it would take two people to lift it.

What's NOT to love about this crate?
The box arrived a day early and I was so excited! The box was heavy, not crazy about that, but I was able to lift one end up and push it up two stairs and slide it into the house. I slid it down a hallway and into the bedroom it would stay in because once put together it would be too wide to roll through the doorway. The instructions were so easy to follow. I figured out that if you turned the box onto its side, open it, then turn it again to essentially dump the contents out. After putting the casters on, the crate opened like scissors, then the two square steel tubes needed to be screwed into place, and the floor panel went in through the top. Next, the pan was inserted through the front, then the top closed. The locks are interesting... the one on the center top must be rotated and then slid backwards (will help deter any kids from locking others inside). Nice!!! That's it! It's that simple! My dog loves it! This one, a 48" crate, is so much nicer than the wire one (42") we used before. We have a large German Shepherd and he's so much more comfortable in this spacious new crate. He didn't need to be bribed to go into this one! He went in without us asking! It's stainless steel and so easy to clean, too. The pan slides out, too, and I was able to vacuum the dog hair out of it. A universal screw on his water bowl fits the crate just fine.I really love that the top flips open to insert bedding and clean the crate. With my other crate, I had to get down on my knees to arrange the bedding or clean the crate. This one is so much nicer and more contemporary-looking than the wire crate... I'm considering getting a couple more, one for when our dog is out on the patio (open) and another inside to store bulky blankets and pillows. This is a great value, too. My friend who's a groomer, paid another company over $3,000 for a lesser-quality "bank" of 4 crates. After seeing my crate, she decided to order several more of these for her store!!!

Decent crate but not meant for large dogs
We got this for our 35 pound beagle mix who we just rescued and has severe separation anxiety. He bent two of our normal wire crates so we decided we had to get something heavy duty like this. This is the 48” model. It’s advertised as being large enough for large dogs but I included two photos, one with my 100 pound German shepherd who I would not say this is not nearly large enough to leave in for any extended period of time. And a photo of our 35 pound beagle mix, It’s a great size for him. It assembles very easily, no screws or anything it basically is pop up style, so should be a breeze to take down when needed. We only got it today so I can’t speak to the durability of it but I just wanted to leave a review to let people know it’s not large enough for a big dog.

Extremely sturdy dog kennel!
We purchased this as a replacement for a wire type kennel purchased from a big box pet store when we got our pittie. She was able to push her nose through and bend the bars of that kennel and this one has been a perfect sturdy replacement! As others have noted, be careful of the hinges on the top of the kennel. We have not had problems yet as we mostly use the side door but I can see how these could be if used often and the top is allowed to bend backwards.

Perfect fit
Or new rescued large adult dog did not like to be kenneled at night. So much so he was trying to chew his way out of the regular wired crates. He seems to be happier with this one. Strong enough for our brute.

Expensive, missing pieces and customer service is horrible.
This is an awful product; the material is cheap, worst the pieces never came together. I requested help repeatedly and they said they would pick it up and bring me a new one, the picking up never happened, but I did have to pay for the new one they sent. I have 2 worthless crates now and though my purchase was in May 2022 I have never been able to use either of them, but they were so expensive and I can't stand the thought of throwing them in the trash where they belong! I attempted to reexamine them today with the help of a family member who agreed that these are junk and would not come together nor would they hold my 15 lb. dog. PS They both arrived very beat up too.
