Outstanding Quality and Performance
This review is a combination for both the 16x16 HDMI Matrix and the 8x16 HDMI Matrix by NoHassleAV. I have 14 TVs spread throughout my basement ManCave as well as a TV outside on the patio and in a bathroom upstairs. Over the years I suffered with HDMI splitters but never had the flexibility a matrix provides. The 16x16 is fantastic and allows me to have numerous fios, directv and Apple TVโs feed the input and select which tv gets which feed. The app works great and the only update I would make is having two columns for input / output selection and disable the amp volume control if you donโt have that product. I originally started with the 8x16 hdmi matrix and still use it for the hdmi over cat5e to feed the outdoor tv and outside projector. College football Saturday and nfl Sunday is the best with all games going on a tv.

Probably overkill in most cases, but works great. Note: No HDR10 support
After getting used to using an Extron Crosspoint for my retro consoles, I got used to having matrix switching functionality and how useful it is, so I started looking for if there was such thing as a HDMI matrix switch for the more modern game consoles. I found the 8x8 and 16x16 matrix switch from NoHassleAV, and while the price tag is pretty high, I can safely say that it is absolutely worth the money if you have a use case that takes advantage of it. In my particular use case, I have two TVs side by side, as well as two PCs underneath with capture cards for recording/streaming. For the inputs, I'm currently using 14 of the inputs, 2 of which are the two aforementioned PCs, 2 are RetroTink 5x devices connected from my Extron Crosspoint, and the other 10 are HDMI consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, 2x Nintendo Switch, PS3, PS4, PS5, Wii U). On the other end, I'm only using 4 of the outputs (two LG C1s and two AverMedia Live Gamer 4k capture cards) so an asymmetric matrix of 16x8 or 24x8 would better suit my use case. But this setup allows me and my partner to use both TVs simultaneously to play different games, mirror one game on both, and capture any combination of consoles/PCs footage with only a few taps on the app.The app itself is fairly barebones, but it's functional enough to be able to do everything you would need for video routing purposes and is a bit better than using the web interface. The web interface is mostly there to set settings, and most importantly, setting EDID. The only thing you need to make sure is that both your mobile device/tablet (I use iOS) is on the same network as the matrix switch itself, and you'll need to know the IP address of the matrix switch on the network to connect to it. The only thing I'd like to see is landscape support for iPad, but otherwise, it just works. One thing to note: HDR10 does not appear to be supported. Dolby Vision is the only advertised HDR implementation, which is great for movies. But my use case is centered around gaming, and the major game consoles out use HDR10 instead. My Xbox Series X reports that only base 4K60 is supported. Neither HDR nor 120Hz is supported here, so don't expect those to work (admittedly, 120Hz was never advertised, so can't really fault it for that). But for me, 99% of my use cases don't involve either, so it's not a big issue. Still, it would be nice if we could get HDR10 in an update of some kind. It's also possible I have EDID problems, but I've set all of my inputs to copy from one of two identical LG C1s, but HDR is still marked as unsupported. It could also be my cables, but a direct connection between the console and the TV with the same cable does allow HDR and 4K120, so I'm assuming HDR10 is just not being forwarded by the switch.
