I just love this thing. Maybe it’s because I get a kick out of the old-school notebook design, but it’s also quite functional and made with decent quality, too. Price was good, it pretty much snaps right on easily, and makes me feel just a little better that my mac is protected to some degree.It’s not super thick, and I still wouldn’t want to drop it on the concrete or anything, but it will protect against doggy drool, cat scratches, and toddler’s crayons. It also tricks the glancing eye into thinking you’re just toting around a notebook instead of a pricey Apple product…

This works great, fits very well. Protects from scratches and does not get in the way at all. It was a little bit difficult to put on, but there's a good reason for that -- it has to fit TIGHTLY. Follow the diagram and start at the back hinge. And be sure to snap the corners and edges on.I haven't dropped it (knock on wood!) but I believe it will provide sufficient protection for my needs. It's not going to bounce like some of those life-proof cases, but I didn't want something bulky. I wanted to SEE my my new rose gold MacBook Air in all its glory. I've smashed the corners of several MacBook Pros over the years, so I really wanted this one to stay pristine. If this cover shatters, it will be easy and cheap to replace, but the MBA...not so much!UPDATE: Oct 2022 - I ordered a different clear cover by IBENZER in May 2022 because this one didn't last a year. It was cracking around the corners on the top cover where it gets the most action from opening and closing (bottom is fine -- I am actually still using the Fintie bottom piece with the IBENZER top). The IBENZER didn't last 6 months! So now I'm debating whether to buy another Fintie. Given the price on both of them, having an "insurance policy" for a couple of bucks a month, I guess I can't complain too much, and I'm not going to reduce my rating on this Fintie cover. But 5 months just doesn't cut it for the other one.

Just arrived today. It is super cute, and snapped onto my laptop easily, but it feels extremely flimsy and like one quick thump would crack the whole thing. I'm keeping it because I like how it looks and it wasn't expensive but I have little faith that it would act as any kind of protection - this case is strictly for looks only.

Quality material, fits perfectly. Much better than the previous cover I had that I paid less for.

Bought this twice and I’ll probably never pick another case again. It’s so chic, sleek, affordable, and cute. Used the first case for over a year before I found a small crack (after bumping it in the same spot for months) and I could have kept using it for another year but I decided to get a new one. Love it!

I drop my laptops once or twice a year, and hate it when they get dented, so my son recommended this nifty set of clip on plastic protectors. They sort of snap on the top and the bottom, add no weight, keep my MacBook Air scratch free, and dent free. After about 9 months (for me) they start to wear out with scratches and cracks, but I just get a new set, and my laptop always looks new.This is especially important for those who not only like their electronics to look nice, but also for those who do a lot of trade ins. These protectors take good care of my Mac, even when I don't.

Did thorough research before buying this case since I thought that it was decent and affordable. I bought this back in August and have to replace it now in February. I've never broken a protector case before or any tech mind you. I'm very careful with my products.Both of the top corners of the macbook case broke off. They broke off literally because I opened and closed my macbook by using those corners like any other person does lol. I didn't do it hard btw, just like any regular person.Tried to use it regardless but once both corners were broken off, the top case kept falling off.If you want a very short-term solution or hardly use your macbook then yes, this is a good product for you to buy. If you're looking for a long-term usage case, don't buy this product unless you're okay with it working for approximately 6 months. Going to purchase a better, more sturdy case now but I hope that others find this useful.Attaching pics to this since I'm more of a visual person and know that it'll help potential buyers decide if they want to continue with purchasing it.Hope this helps and take care!
