Lutein (Lutemax 2020), 20 mg - for Healthy Vision & Eye Health - Supplement with Zeaxanthin - Vegan, Non-GMO & Gluten-Free Supplement - 60 Veggie Gels

Affordable cost and it fulfilled my optometrist's recommendation that I find a 20 mg Lutein with a 4 mg Zeaxanthin content. I looked at many products that had the 20 mg but far less Zeaxanthin content. (800 mcg or so). Affordable price and it fit the recommendation.

諸々の眼病予防のために購入しました。 予防としての使用なので、私自身が実感した効果としては薄いように感じます。 ただ、だからと言って他製品ならば効果があるのかといえば含まれている有効成分は全く同じなのでこの手の製品は得てしてこのくらいのものなのだと思います。 なので他社製品と比較する点として値段を例にあげますと、某大手日本企業の類似商品がルテイン1ｍｇ、ゼアキサンチン0.2ｍｇ当たり5.4円なのに対して、こちらの製品は同量で1.1円と約1/5という破格の値段です。 価格の面でとても良い製品なのですが、少し気になる点としてキャップの下のうち蓋がなかなかきれいにはがれないです。それ以外は文句の付けようのない良い製品だと思います。

Love this brand, it's a favorite for eye health

米国から様々な健康食品を個人輸入し始めて20年ほどになります。最近は手間のかからないAmazonを利用しています。 日本の健康食品は小林製薬やDHCのものを使っていますが、米国製t比べ含有量が少ないのが不満です。 かといって、含有量の多い米国製がその分多くを体感できるかと言えばそうでもありません。 自分の体にとって、メーカーや種類によっての使い分けが必要かと感じる日々です。 さて、50代後半になりまして、目の渇きや霞・ボヤケが気になり始めました。ブルーベリージャムをパンやヨーグルトに混ぜて食べてみました。多少良い気がします。 ネット検索しルテインが良いとの事で、日本の加齢の目に良い健康食品や米国製NowFoodsの物を試しましたがイマイチ。 春先に、Healthy Origins社の物を取り寄せ、毎朝1粒を試してきました。概ね良好で、たまにぼやける時もありますが視界がクリヤでスッキリ見えています。 私は飛蚊症は無いので、その方面での効果は分かりません。 ちなみに目薬はロートのゴールド40を常用しています。

This is a pretty good value for the money, and if you take one a day you only need to buy a couple of reasonably priced bottles per year. For a vegan version that has a decent amount of zeaxanthin, I can't beat this price with any other brand. I want to emphasize - the bottle says Lutein, but it's a lutein + zeaxanthin mix, which is a very good thing. Your eyes certainly need both and your body can't make either of them anyhow. I wonder why Healthy Origins doesn't label it lutein + zeazanthin. I only buy vegan supplements and I try to save money. There are some non-vegan bargains but they are not for me. There are lutein-zeaxanthin combinations with higher doses that are much more expensive, and I have used one of those for years. But I can't hack spending $200+ per year anymore on lutein + zeaxanthin. There are some relatively low-cost lutein supplements with no specified amount of zeaxanthin, and I don't see the point of those at all. Again, our bodies supposedly can't maufacture our own (not like we make our own Vitamin D).
