Does it put out 800 lumens using the 2 AAs as well or just using the rechargeable battery?

The light outputs 800 lumens when using the included rechargeable battery. The light outputs 350 lumens when using non-rechargeable Alkaline AA batteries.

Does this device drain power when it is not turned on ?

Not that ive seen at all. Mine always seems to be at the ready. I also bought a spare battery that i keep as well so that im never without power.

Can you purchase an extra rechargeable battery?

I’m pretty sure you can either on here or fro then fenix website. The good thing is itlll run off of two AAA’s as well
