Very smooth razor blade
I am very positively surprised by these razor blades. I have what I would consider a medium beard growth, my facial hair are not coarse but not soft either, my skin is pretty sensitive. In my Muhle R41 (which is broadely considered an "aggressive" DE safety razor) the Treet Carbon "Black Beauty" works extremely well for me. Very smooth shave, needed only 2 passes for a BBS shave. Usually with other blades I need 3 passes (including the highly praised Feather blades, which are undoubtedly very sharp and great blades but unfortunately cause me quite some skin irritations). I'm so delighted with this combination of razor + treet carbon blade. Hardly any skin irritation, no razor burn and no tugging. Fantastic ... and yes, these blades do rust. They need a bit more care. I usually take 'em out after shaving, rinse and use a hairblower to dry them. That seems to work quite well. I get three fantastic shaves out of one blade before it degrades and I need to discard it. The cost per shave is a few cents. I love that. The extra effort in "babysitting" the carbon blades with the quality of shaves is totally worth to me. As always, YMMV. Like others mentioned, I would suggest to get a sample of these and try 'em out.

Good carbon steel blades
Pleasantly surprised with these carbon steel blades. No irritation. Sliced right through my whiskers, and the wiry tough hair around the chin area had no issues. Works well with any razor I've paired it with so far. And can't beat the price. Well worth it.

I am happy with this product.
It is sharp and smooth. However, keep in mind that these blades are dependent upon a good razor and some practice. The value is amazing. If I take the time to dry the blades and store my razor in my bedroom instead of the steamy bathroom, I can get 4 or 5 shaves per blade. It isn't necessary at this price, but I wanted to test the metal of the blades. As an aside, I haven't used a safety razor in 30 years until recently and the manufactures will be pleased to learn that an American Infidel cut his own throat with their product... Even if it was just a minor nick...

Surprisingly reasonable
I love that these are so cheap that I bought a 100-pack despite and because of reading a review that scored them 0/5 and worst ever. It my Facon razor, a relatively aggressive well-made cheapie, these are not good. In my Merkur Futur (and clones), this is quite good for the 1st 2 shaves. Not so good for the 3rd shave, I switched to a Feather Popular razor for this and had an excellent 3rd shave. I still prefer other cheap blades that are trivially more expensive like the Permasharp, Voshkod, Gillette Wilkinson Sword, etc. However, for those who want to see that a blade some hate can still be good if used in the right razor for some people, this is a cheap experiment.

Very pleasantly surprised.
We all know that everyone is different, and what I like, may be terrible for the next person.I have a very coarse beard, and very sensitive skin. My go-to blade has always been Nacet. It's what got me to effectively wet-shave, and still works amazing for me.I've noticed I can't use platinum blades, as even if I get a really good shave, I'll be red and irritated a couple hours later...So I thought I'd give Carbon blades a try. I'm glad I did. They're surprisingly smooth, and surprisingly sharp, but not too sharp as to cause irritation. They seem like a "forgiving-smooth-blade." Which will make sense to most DE/wet shavers out there.Yes, unfortunately they do rust. And they rust somewhat quickly. (that's a used blade in the photo) but it seems like most other blades, I'm able to get three shaves/days out of the blade before I throw it out. (I haven't pushed the limit on these blades yet, I've kept them at three total shaves.)For the price they're definitely worth trying. I've just ordered more since trying them the last few weeks. If you're new to wet-shaving, definitely check out some beginner YouTube videos. It's a different type of shave, but so much better than plastic cartridge shaving. It just takes a learning curve to understand and get better.Try these blades. I'm hoping you'll like them too.Best of luck.

Perfect blade for my razor and beard type.
Some say that this blade "tugs" at their beard, and that isn't desirable. I get what they are saying, but for me that "tug" is what I use to gauge my angle and speed of shaving. I love it ... no, I need it. This allows me to get a very close shave without razor burn.I have tried all kinds of de blades. I have found that coated ss blades cause irritation and redness. Plain ss are okay, but can still cause issues unless I am careful and use quite a bit of shaving cream. Carbon steel is what has worked for me. Sadly, there are not that many brands available in carbon. These Treet blades with their black "coating" (not sure what to call it -- it's not a coating like on ss blades) are perfect. They are inexpensive, sharp but not insane, and get the job done. Just make sure to toss them before they rust.Oh, and NO WAX DOTS gluing them to their wrapper. I can't stand blades that have wax -- and even some paper -- stuck to them when you unwrap them. These Treets are ready to rock right out of their wrapper.

Worst DE blades I have ever used.
I've always wanted to give carbon steel blades a try, so I went with these. First, the good. The black look makes them look cool. That's it for the good. Unfortunately, for actually shaving my face, they're terrible. They're not sharp, not smooth and there's noticeable tug and pull from start to finish. Even after two passes there were still patches on my face with stubble. Oh, on top of all that, they rust as well. Any stainless steel, platinum coated blade is worlds better than this mess. If you want Treet blades, pass on these and go for the Platinum Super Stainless version that they make instead - those are excellent.
