Can’t wait for the next one!
The pace was a little slow in the beginning but I loved it since I was able to notice so many small details that were later quite important to the plot. I loved how we were able to see the friendship between Dawes and Alex develop and how they were more like a family to each other. I really loved the twists and turns in the story and how they were able to bring a certain someone back. There were so many parts that left me speechless and I can’t say much without spoilers so if you wanna find out what happened, pick it up but make sure you read the first book in the series first!

It's a good quality paperback but not a library binding as mentioned in the webpage.

Blank pages
The media could not be loaded. A total of 10 missing pages in the middle of this fast paced and action packed story. Such a disappointment.

It's Paperback, not Library Binding!
Seller was good but it's not library binding, I am not sure why Amazon is showing book under Library binding. I wanted hardcover but Paperback quality isn't bad too.

Contemperary Dark Fantasy
“Hell Bent” is the eagerly anticipated sequel to Leigh Bardugo’s “Ninth House,” and it continues the story of Galaxy “Alex” Stern. Set in an alternate version of Yale University, where secret societies perform occult rituals to gain power, the novel is a contemporary dark fantasy that delves deeper into the world of magic, violence, and the supernatural. In “Hell Bent,” Alex Stern is back, and she’s on a mission to rescue her mentor, Darlington, from the clutches of purgatory. The stakes are higher than ever as Alex, forbidden from attempting the rescue, must assemble a team of dubious allies to navigate a maze of arcane texts and bizarre artifacts. Together, they must uncover the societies’ most closely guarded secrets and break every rule in the process. As faculty members begin to die off, it becomes clear that these aren’t just accidents. Alex must confront the monsters of her past and a darkness that’s built into the university’s very walls. The novel is thick with history and packed with Bardugo’s signature twists, bringing to life an intricate world where the line between monsters and humans is blurred.Leigh Bardugo, known for her Grishaverse series, has once again created a narrative that is both compelling and complex, with a protagonist who is flawed yet fiercely determined. “Hell Bent” is a testament to Bardugo’s ability to weave together elements of horror, mystery, and urban fantasy into a story that is as thought-provoking as it is thrilling.
