Size:8” Meat Cleaver In need of a heavy-duty knife that can handle all the tough jobs? Our 8-inch meat cleaver is tough enough to cut bone but will also work for veggies and fruits. This CRYO ice-hardened knife is a convenient size of approximately 13.5” L x .875” W x 3.375” H and has a 10 – 15 degree angled blade, making it the perfect size for heavy-duty chopping jobs. We designed this knife with a brown, antibacterial handle for comfort and ease of use. The handle is made with a textured material for extra grip. Every chef appreciates a well-balanced knife. That’s why our cutlery is designed to fit comfortably in your hand and reduce your efforts in the kitchen. These knives are rust resistant, but we recommend that you avoid letting them sit in water or washing them in the dishwasher. It is important to note that all knives can rust but that they will have better chances of remaining in good condition if they are taken care of properly. Like any other knives, our fine cutlery requires care, regular maintenance, and sharpening as needed. To ensure your satisfaction for many years to come, we recommend you always use the honing steel to realign the edge before or after use and that you sharpen the knives carefully when needed. It is also important to use a quality cutting board. We highly recommend using bamboo or wood cutting boards and suggest you avoid glass, ceramic, and plastic cutting boards because they will dull your knives quickly. Using deficient cookware tools will make it difficult to produce the same results as using high-quality utensils. Each of our product lines has been designed with you in mind and offers the ultimate culinary experience. We are here to serve our customers and will do our best to support, assist, and satisfy your needs.

I own several GW knives, and they are great. I also have several other professional knives which were purchased at three or more times the cost, but I reach for the GW more often. I purchased this and the paring knife as a gift for Christmas and just actually saw them out of the package for the first time. The handles are PLASTIC! Not the same handles as any of the other GW I've ever seen or owned. Also, there appears to be rust forming on the blades of both knives which should not happen. I am going to suggest that the recipient of these gifts return them, which is embarrassing and a big hassle. I cannot believe these are made by the same company I've loved for many years!!!

I was expecting the handle to be wood not plastic
Over all the knife is very nice, but was not happy to discover the handle was molded plastic and not wood.

Gifted to Brother in law. He uses it to break down pork shoulder for sausage and to slice rib eye steaks from rib roast. He loves it.

Great knife for the price
Great knife for the price. Handle is rubber/plastic so it's more of a working cooks knife and not a show piece. Sharp as hell.

overall pleased
i really like this knife. it seems to be a good fit for the casual home chef. holds it's edge well. i wish the plastic handle didn't look so "cheap" though.

Amazing knife!
We purchased a set from Costco and have loved them! Bought this for my father in law after he used to carve a roast at my house. Heavy, sharpe, good balance, and a great look. Would buy these again!
