What grit dreams are made of.
Being from the Carolinas, I am a bit of a grit connoisseur (snob). These are everything I want. I have prepared them several ways and they always turn out perfect. The taste is amazing, nutty and hearty but subtle enough you can enhance it with butter and sauces. My favorite dish with these is pecan crusted trout.

Can a man have two loves?
First let's get the obvious out of the way. Much like if it's not from Kentucky it isn't really Bourbon, if they're not from South Carolina they aren't really grits. (I'm not now or have I ever been a resident of South Carolina.) Until my first fork full of Marsh Hen Mills grits, I would have told you there was no reason to eat anything except for the products from Palmetto Farms. These grits are equally amazing. They have more texture and are just as flavorful. I would say (definitely not an expert in grits) the Marsh Hen Mills are better simply prepared. Adding little or nothing to hide the flavor or texture. As simple as butter, salt and pepper. The Palmetto Farms are better in more complex recipes such as Shrimp and Grits. However, they both have the flavor to do either. So, my favorite grits are Palmetto Farms and also Marsh Hen Mill. Our relationship will be complicated, but I know we can work it out.

Great down-home grits
I love this blend of white and yellow corn grits. I'm usually cooking a single serving as my British wife and our kids can't quite like grits for some reason. However, as a Tennessean born and raised grits are an essential part of my diet that I can't give up. For a single serving (1/3 c grits to 1 c water with a pat of butter and dash of salt in the pot) they've been cooking up nice and smooth for me. I usually like to add some hot sauce, cheese and egg (fried or scrambled) to them in the bowl, not being a Yankee, I don't defile my grits with anything sweet. I'm probably going to try using these for shrimp and grits too. These are really high quality grits and could easily become my regular. I still have a bag of their blue corn grits to try but I'm going to finish this bag before I get into that one. Great product and I'm happy to support you guys.

Good grits
Typically I purchase white grits. I decided to try the mixed grits for a change. There is just enough difference in flavor and texture to get my notice. I like grits in general and this is a very pleasant change.

We had these at our favorite restaurant and LOVED the taste and coarse texture. Small batch ground in SC…the birthplace of good grits!!!!Pricey but the BEST!!!

Outstanding Product
You won’t regret buying these grits. My husband is from France and has never liked the commercial grits offered in Cracker Barrel and similar places, but he adored these!

Good flavor big bag.
These taste good and this a big bag and you don't need a lot for each serving. You need to well cook them in the right of water or they will be gritty.
