Do not purchase this cooler if you need it to work past 2 times
This item displays the temperature in Celsius only. There is no way of changing the temperature to Fahrenheit. So every time I used this item it was a math problem. I used this device to keep a medication cold that was needed to give a injection once per week. This device was used 2 times, each time I plugged it in inside the house prior to the trip. Then plugged it in the vehicle. The third trip the device was plugged in to cool off. Upon leaving for a car trip, I plugged in the device but it would not cool. I checked the plug and the device was useless. I had to find a different way to cool off the medication while on the road. When this cooler device stopped working it heated up very quickly. I would not recommend and would purchase this item. Do not buy! I would give it no stars if it was a option

Need spare battery pack
The battery only last 3 hours if temp is set at 8° C. I would like to purchase a spare battery but I still can't find out how to do that.

What is this?
1) the “manual” is almost illegible. I can’t make any sense of the information they are trying to convey in the manual. It looks important, unfortunately.2) plugging the battery in means USB and wall charger don’t work. Maybe this is by design, but I wouldn’t know because I can’t decipher the manual.3) set the temp to 4c. Cooled for about an hour, then stopped. Figured it had cooled the inside enough. Next morning the temp was at 13c, so that’s $180 in meds wasted.TLDR;Looks cool, doesn’t work, can’t understand the instructions.

Perfect For Local Up To 3 Hour Commute For Sure
So I have a diabetic cat she is older and we like to take her with us when we go places these days like holidays that is. The thing I always worry about is if we can get to the hotel before the insulin gets warm since she is on a Lantus pen insulin. I worry we will get stuck in traffic one day or something will happen and the meds will be useless. They are pricey enough as it is, the insulin pens, but she also needs it to live a happy life. So when i saw this it was perfect, a way to keep my mind at ease when we go out with her on longer trips. It has its own little carry bag which is nice and although will hold a few pens we just need the one, this would be great for anyone who needs more or the insulin itself with them. The touchscreen is a nice touch and makes it easier to set as well. The fact that it has several ways to charge is even nicer from house to car, usb, and mobile bank and battery. Anyways we like to keep battery banks with us when we go so this is perfect to connect to the bank and charge as needed. It gets cool super fast that I was not expecting at all. I am curious how this will work this summer when it gets extremely hot. I am hoping will just cut back on how long it lasts after its charged and not just not keep it cold enough but we shall see. As of right now this is perfect just know if you need it for longer period of time it says it will keep to like 10 hours but I haven't had to use mine past 3 and in that time frame my cats insulin was still cold.

Good idea, but poor implementation
I've tested but not used this. There are two big problems. First, the buttons (on/off, temperature) are too sensitive. If anything touches them, the settings change or it turns off. I tried covering the switches with cardboard or a credit card, but even with this protection the switches are so sensitive that touching the cardboard or credit card doesn't prevent activating the switch. I'd suggest a door over the switches, or a physical master switch. Second, the instructions say to remove the battery between uses or even if plugged in for a long time. It would have made sense to install a batter cutoff switch so you wouldn't have to remove and reinsert the battery repeatedly. For my eyedrops that require refrigeration, I found that a small thermos with ice works well, and I've taken that through airport security several times.

Pretty good I guess
It does the job, keeps insulin cold. BUT-1. It is very sensitive to direct sunlight, keep it in a shaded spot or it will get warm fast.2. Keep the airflow behind and underneath wide open, do not allow blockage or it will get warm fast.If you do not need the black fabric carry case on it, take it off.3. The interior is metal, it gathers condensation on high humidity days so? I use a folded paper towel as a liner, it absorbs the water droplets AND provides a much needed cushion for glass insulin bottles. Don't make the PT pad too thick or the case won't close and your insulin will warm up.4. Internal battery seems to discharge a lot quicker than advertised, though I never timed it.5. The readout is only in Celsius. No Fahrenheit settings. Conclusion?Though this post sounds negative I feel the cooler is an improvement to a standard ice cooled insulin case. It is very handy in the car/truck once you plug it into a USB port for keeping you meds cool during a road trip.Don't expect a miracle cooler, this will do the job well if you follow my directions.

Two months old and it broke
This unit is a bad purchase. Bought it in May 2024 and it’s quit working in July 2024. Beware, there was no way to repair or replacement option with customer service of with the actual company. DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!
