Makes Great Nutmilk
I bought these to make homemade nutmilk about a year ago. I soak a cup of roasted nuts in 2 cups of water, overnight, then blenderize them in the blender with 2 cups of the soaking water. I blenderize this mixture on high until it is smooth. I pour this mixture through one of these straining bags, while suspending the bag over a large bowl. I let it drain for a few minutes, then squeeze the remaining milk out of the pulp. I put the nut milk in a glass jar, and add enough water to make 2 cups. Refrigerate, and it is good for about 5 to 7 days. Our favorite is hazelnut milk! You can make things like nut crackers with the pulp. I rinse the bag well, then I soak the bag in hot water with dish soap, and then rinse it thoroughly. I lay it in a dish drainer to dry. It dries super fast!!! These bags are super sturdy, and I'm sure will last for many years! I highly recommend them. There are plenty of other uses for these!

Used for dry hopping
I used these for dry hopping a beer. They work just fine. You will need to bleach them to get the stains out. They are sort of a pain to clean, but that's just the nature of dry. Hopping with these types of bags. They were much better than a cloth bag because they are reusable. You can put them in the washer but I chose to hand wash and soak them.

I use it to store my lettuce
So, I know nylon is a really good material. And, I have large plastic food storage containers that I dump my bagged salad greens into (instead of being cramped in that small container you buy them in), and I had been using a moist paper towel to keep my greens fresh w/o getting moldy. But I thought a fine mesh fabric would be better. So, I wandered around in the Amazon pages and found this. I don't even put the greens INSIDE the bag. I just set it in the bottom(slightly moist), leaving half the bag out to the side, dump in my lettuces, then gently lay the other half of the bag over them, then snap close the container. Keeps my greens fresh w/o growing mold (at least for a week or so). And anytime the bag should get some green slimey substance on it (for a neglectful lettuce-Mom) you can simply wash it with dish soap. Voila, good as new! Use forever!

Perfect for horchata
I actually bought these to make horchata. I was using a cheese cloth and fine mesh strainer, but I wanted a smoother final product. These made it a lot easier to achieve that. The horchata easily strains from the rice without having excess grains in the final drink. They're easy to wash and the drawstring helps keep things neat when squeezing the bag.

Large Size
Used for home brewing beer hop bag in wort boil. Good price point. Probably should have went for smaller size. Used one today brew day, works fine. Clean up OK. Lets see how long it lasts
