Buy used, totally worth it
I bought these Klipsch RP500 II used-like new and they showed up in all the original packaging, never opened or used, undamaged and saved like $150-$200.The connections is just simple positive/negative that I used banana plugs for, but they will do straight wire. There is no power cord needed. I had to extend my speaker wire because the cable ports are at the bottom of the speaker , and if installed without the extension the speakers would touch the ceiling.Be careful unscrewing the pos/neg connectors too. I dropped one in the back of the speaker and it was a nightmare to get out and had to take apart the speaker, but that was easy and it did no damage.I also used the Mount-It! Wall mounts, so I could rotate the speakers in and they also worked great with this product. No vibration issues. As for the speakers, they are absolutely worth the money for either your first set or as upgrades. The sound is so much more clear and bass-y than before. It really gives my 20’x20’ room a move theater sound. I was thinking about getting the RP600s, but I really think it would not be necessary now after several months of use and my size of space.

Klipsch RP500M II
Excellent sounding speakers. After testing a few different bookshelf speakers, including the newer Elac debut 3.0 db53s I kept the Klipsch. These just had that extra punch and excitement that I was looking for. You can’t go wrong with either and if you’re main listening preferences aren’t rock, heavy metal or loud and aggressive music, then the Elacs will probably serve you better. But if you are looking for that excitement that’s more in your face (and ears) then the klipsch are the winners. Good at lower listening levels, great at higher volumes. they are a good balance of neutrality with just an extra punch of excitement, and can easily be EQd to your preferences. Just buy them

Damn good sound and value!
It took me a while to hook these speakers up to my Roku TV. I had some older speakers that were pretty good (along with my Klipsch 12" sub) and I knew I wanted an upgrade and use the older ones in another room. I finally got it together this morning and I am listening to lossless music on Youtube. It is definitely a step up. I am ecstatic as to the sound quality, and, while I am not what I consider a true audiophile, I do appreciate the subtle differences between the sounds coming out of speakers. Even my wife, who is even less nuanced than me, has been grooving to the sound coming out of the new speakers. Please understand, if your source is sort of limited, the difference in the sound isn't going to be that much different. But if you get some material where the sound engineer really appreciates how to pick up every nuance of the artist/instrument, then these speakers WILL deliver a better quality. And, as far as I am concerned, they are a damn good value. Thanks for the upgrade to high quality sound I can now receive.

Great speaker, difficult company
Speaker sounds amazing. Note that there is a cork base so if you're mounting you will see the cork bottom. I originally ordered at a lower rate and that package mysteriously disappeared and I had to order again at the higher rate. Luckily amazon credited me for the difference, but it seemed very sketchy.

Good speakers at a good price
If you want a high sensitivity and dynamic speakers for a medium-sized room, this is it! It is easy to work with a low cost AVR without significant performance impact. Comparing other speakers which have higher tonality scores tested with CEA2034 standard, my 2.1 setup could be a budget friendly setup, but it delivers me the best value and listening quality in my price range. I got a lively, engaging sound with clear and prominent highs. I can enjoy both Hi-Fi music and enhanced home theater experience.

Great sounding
I have an office/movie room I put these speakers in. I upgraded from Klipsch R-41PM and I have to say these are great! I have them connected to a Onkyo TX-NR6100 receiver and a Klipsch R-100SW 10" sub. I have a center speaker coming soon but honestly just having these are GREAT! The sound quality is crips and great for the size of room I have. They aren't that heavy in my opinion but I am really happy with the performance of these Klipsch speakers.
