So far very pleased with this product. I read more reviews of "pop-bead jewelry" than I ever want to again in my life. This seemed to be an agreed-upon rather good product and indeed it is. It kept our 4-year old granddaughter entertained from Texas to Virginia Beach and back again. The quality seems fine to me. It's not what I recall from the 1950s (!) with pop-beads but that's probably a good thing. :-) And we certainly didn't have these cute shapes and extenders for making "rings" and earrings" and "pendants" for the necklaces. I agree with some reviewers who weren't completely taken by the pastel colors (I'd like more vivid colors) but the resulting items are pretty. I might have to update but I do think I'm sticking with five stars on this one. Word of warning. These little critters will get all over if you're not careful and some pieces are VERY small (designed to fit on other small pieces) so be careful around littler ones.

The colors are bright and the texture is soft. My daughter is two and loves to play with these, as does her four year old brother. There are many different styles of beads and types of items you can make, which is nice. I just wish the pieces were more balanced, so if they want to make matching earrings, or something like that, they would be able to. Instead, the pieces and quantities of each appear to be random.Some of the pieces are kind of hard for even an adult to snap together, and others don't stay snapped, which points to a bit of a quality control issue on the manufacturer's side. There are also a lot of malformed and random broken pieces in the bag.Overall, it is a fun activity for an inside day or a lazy weekend morning. I highly recommend storing them in something other than the bag they come in though, because it tends to open up from the pressure of the weight of the beads if it gets moved around too much, even when tied.I would consider buying them again, but would likely look at other options first.

My children and I love these ! however, they end up all over the house and are sometimes hard to see when vacuuming. i would not recommend for children who still like to put things in there mouth but only because they are small. we have been playing with them for just over a month and i would say about 10 have broke , the ends that latch together are somewhat small and a little fragile. you can do alot of neat things with them they keep the kids busy . me and my wife are already considering getting more.

These were a little smaller than I anticipated. The picture is very deceiving; in proportion to the child, the beads are pictured about 5X their actual size. The girls (ages 3 & 5) like them, but I was disappointed that them were so tiny and challenging for tiny fingers.

A tiny 5-year old tested this for me, as I purchased for a charity gift. The bracelets are really small - tight on her and she is really petite. Also, I do not think that the girt pictured is playing with the set that the picture is with. My set does not have some of the items shown, and it would take more than my set to make what the child is pictured wearing! My test child did have a good time with the set, but I am not sure that it is worth what I paid.

I bought these from Amazon Warehouse. It said the originally packaging was damaged. I assumed it was the pink bag that was damaged since so many people had problems with the bag. My plan was to put them in a plastic storage bin so I didn't care about the bag. When they came, the bag was broken and about 20 pieces were missing. I wasn't too mad because I received a discount. The flowers are rubbery and there is a very good variety. No smell. We had 1-2 pieces break and one piece came as just a nub with an unformed bead on it. All of these factors is why a deducted a star. I recommend, but plan on storing them in something else. Bag is very cheap. Basically disposable.

No strings to untangle or lose. No string to break and send beads bouncing to every corner. Shapes and colors for sorting. This is my second set of these and they are a hit. Snap them together, easily take them back apart. Keeps little hands busy making pretty necklaces, collars for the dog, jewelry for their dolls.

Deceptively depicted. Buyer beware! I should have looked at all the pictures and read the reviews. The beads are jelewry sized beads, not the large toddler beads they appear to be. The only reason for not returning them is, it is partially my own fault for purchasing in a hurry .... but I’m incredibly disappointed and will probably never buy from this vendor again.
