CLAMP for Regular Auto-Siphon

Nice snug fit on some buckets, and looser on others but still no risk of coming off.

This clamp works well when I use it and it saves me time on getting things done without waiting on a human to help!

This clamp works perfectly! Holds the siphon tube securely. When you buy one of these clamps, measure the inside siphon tube. Not the outside tube the inner tube slides in. This was a bit confusing, but I got the right one and I'm happy with it!

I've been making wine for 3 years now. Due to a cramped work area I use about 20 carboys which makes for lots of siphoning each time I need to re-rack. This small clip has made the process so much less hassle. It clips nicely to the 3, 5 and 6 gallon glass carboys that I use. It's tight enough on the siphon tube to prevent slippage.Pro-tip: Once your siphon is started, slide the clip around the rim of the carboy to position it under the siphon hose. This will keep the siphon tube fairly straight up and down in the carboy. Otherwise, the weight and pressure of the hose will cause the tube to not be vertical and you'll miss a larger portion of your beverage in the re-rack than you would if the tube were perfectly vertical.

The clamp is strong and sturdy. However, with the siphon attached, this will not fit in a standard 6 gallon glass carboy that uses a #6 bung. It's also hit-or-miss if this will solidly clamp onto a bucket. The curved outer clip works on some buckets but not others.

As advertised sturdy and reasonably priced

I ordered this assuming owned a standard-size siphon, which came with my equipment kit. After receiving it, I realized my siphon is considerable larger than the clamp opening, so I won't be using it for its intended purpose. My mistake. I'll now order the larger size. the product, however, seems well-made and it looks and feels like it would hold up under use.I can't give five stars, I'll revisit once I get the larger one.

These are pretty easy to use. They come in two large rolls and all you need to do is measure the size you need, cut it, seal one side then fill it and seal the other. Piece of cake.
