I’ve been told that I’m obsessed with finding the right seasonings/rubs for all of my cooking needs. I will openly admit this is true! The right seasonings/rubs is often difficult to find until I stumbled upon Miners Mix.The XXX-Garlic is absolutely amazing and really brings your food to life. I tried it on my most recent smoked chicken lollipops and honestly prepared 2 different batches. One being a very well known rub, which I can’t name on Amazon and the other batch was the XXX-Garlic. I made roughly 25 of each batch and while everyone enjoyed both batches I got rave reviews about the XXX-Garlic batch! I had everyone asking about the rub as it really brought out some of the best chicken flavor they have ever tasted. I would have to agree with them!If you are looking for something different that brings out full flavor with your cooking then give Miners Mix a shot. I’ve tried the steak and pork rub as well and both were phenomenal! You just can’t go wrong. Also one last thing...I do not work or have any affiliation with Miners Mix at all. I simply love cooking for people and have stumbled upon a true gem!

I decided to cook a brisket and needed a good rub without MSG or a ton of salt. In addition, I did not want any artificial ingredients. Being on a low cab diet, we smoke meat on a regular basis, and a general use rub is a staple in our pantry. I am always looking to try something new and this fit the bill.I hesitated when I saw sugar as an ingredient, but I figured itwas a trace amount since there was only 1g of carbs. I was also impressed with the low sodium.The garlic added a nice flavor without being overly garlicky, and the rub held up beautifully on the brisket. There is no heat to this, so it works well for those who don't like spicy (i.e. a four year old). Overall, agreat rub and look forward to using it on chicken.

I tried this brand of spices at a trade show I attended in Las Vegas. The flavor tried was the steak and vegetable flavor. It is very good! I decided these would be good fathers day gifts as my husband, children and family members are all bbq fans.I have ordered the steak and vegetable flavor, the garlic all natural flavor and the menphis bbq flavor. I have waited for all that have used these to let me know how they like them. The results have been very good! Everyone who has tried the different flavors have liked them very much.

I've actually used this on chicken, fish and beef. When I got it and tasted it straight from the bottle I noticed it had a hint of sweet. I hate sweet rubs and such but this one has a great balance. The garlic flavor delivers as promised but it doesn't really have that salt bite that I was looking for so I just added a touch of kosher salt to round it out. Overall I was impressed and I would buy it again. The price point is a bit on the high side and that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I got to try this on brisket this weekend. Normally, I'm old school on brisket seasoning: garlic salt and pepper, but I thought I would give this a whirl because the other two Miners Mix rubs I have had have been fantastic. Well, now they are 3 for 3. This rub was just awesome - it's basis is my old favorite garlic salt and pepper, but they add some other stuff that produces a really well balanced flavor. Or maybe they just wave a magic wand. Whatever they do, every rub I've tried has become either my favorite or in the top two - and that's for pork, chicken and brisket. I wonder if they sell this stuff by the 55 gallon drum. . . .

Subjectively, the principal utility of Amazon is access. For me, that translates to small batch espresso and artisanal spices/seasonings.I bought XXX recently; reflexively it has become one of my go-to's: for pork chops, ribeyes, drumsticks, soup (from scratch) as well as grilled vegetables, primarily asparagus. (Phenomenal.)This outfit also meets a critical criteria for me, a small businessman in California's High Desert. Likewise, XXX is a small outfit in The Sierras.Closing out, I noticed no nasty preservatives, or caking agents listed among the ingredients. That equals across the board positive.

Seasoning tasted fine...but the bottle arrived with a quarter of the product missing.

Excellent product, I use it on rotisserie beef tri-tip, to add a garlic hit to sausage, and to also use as a topping for home baked garlic bread. Pairs well with fire in the hole miners mix to spice things up. I have not encountered a blend from this company that I would not recommend or use again. Excellent products and seasonings, well worth their price point.
