The dental mirrors did not withstand sterilisation.

These two mirrors arrived in easy to recycle plastic packaging. Each mirror was well made from highly polished very reflective steel. Steel that didn't easily bend, even when some force was applied. Also inside the packaging was a fabric style bag for each mirror. Which I assume is to keep them scratch free. However if you forget to clean them before bagging them, you could end up transferring bugs and bacteria from one mouth to another. I say "could" because these mirrors are pretty large, in fact so large they couldn't fit inside anyone's mouth. In fairness it maybe because these are external only mirrors, rather than the in-mouth ones used by many dentists. But it means these don't work as well as the in-month type. So, for us, meant they are not much use. Which raised the question how could we, or someone else, use these for? Our solution was as inspection mirrors for seeing behind a hard to reach tooling head. We could also see these, no pun intended, being useful when examining engines or other machinery. Overall ? For use as dental mirrors these where useless, but as easy to clean generic inspection mirrors they work fine.

As mirrors go they are very well made- the glass is optically flat and the reflective properties are bright and will show good detail. I did feel the size was a little large to fit many mouths and would suggest occasional use is be the best application for this mirror- finish wise, the end rounding has worked well and there are no uncomfortable sharp or roughened edges to worry about. Some local fogging was present, but it quickly dissipated and was good to go again. Comes in a velvet type pouch- which doesn't suggest professional use due to contaminant risk of the material.
