This knife strip looks great and the adhesive is going strong 7 months later. The magnet is very strong and no knives have slid out of place or fallen off. I have not had to remove the strip yet so I am not sure how cleanly the adhesive will come off the wall.

As I had to travel I did not open the packet till today 19.09.25. The item is only 10 inch (25 cm) in length. Length mentioned on product page is 16 inch (40 cm). See the Pic. It's a costly item at 1500/-. I wish i had was not been travelling and opened it earlier. Buyers beware! Hope amazon makes such sellers accountable.

I was tired of my old beat up knife blocking taking up valuable space on my counter. I've been on a kitchen organization kick lately and wanted to clean up my counter space by getting the knives off it. I mounted the knife strip on the side of my stainless steel fridge right next to the stove, so my knives are in easy reach as I prep and cook. I used the adhesive to attach it and all I needed by an extra set of hands to hold a level and I simply stuck the magnetic block to my fridge once I was sure it was even. Looks great and the magnetic strip is nice and strong. The knives will not fall off from being inadvertantly touched or bumpe. You have to actually pull with a bit of effort (but not too much effort!) to remove them. I love it! The wood finish looks much nicer than the typical black and metal knife holders.

Put in my truck camper. Heavy duty and magnet holds well. Truck camper bounces around quite a bit and the adhesive is still holding great to the wall. Looks nice too.
