It's a great way to protect furniture if you have to use medication on a part of your body that might touch fabric, like a recliner. The waterproof bottom protects the furniture and the cloth top is nice on the skin. The outer layer traps any moisture, and the inner layer is very comfortable and nice-looking. I suggested to a friend to use it as the bottom of a dog crate on long car trips, 'just in case', for unlike paper, the nice fabric would probably be less tempting for an animal to tear it intentionally - or unintentionally. Another great product from Medline.

These pads are layered and seem strong, but I had to buy 4 and stitch them together to cover a queen sized bed since I prefer full coverage all over. When used directly under the fitted sheet there is a certain amount of stiffness that I still contend with. Possibly after washing it will soften, but not so far....otherwise, I think its a durable product.

We use this as an underpad/draw sheet for my Father who is bed bound from a stroke. We have washed it several times (inlcuding bleach in the wash) and it is holding up well, including staying soft and flexible. We use a disposable underpad on top of this so cannot speak to its absorbent capability. I do like like it is a good middle ground on slickness. It will slide when we use it as a draw sheet but is not so slippery that Dad slides down in the bed with it under him.

I got these to use in my litter box area for an elderly cat who prefers to use puppy-pads. Seem high quality. Have washed once so far on warm, after soaking in Nature's miracle, and hung to dry.
