Perfect replacement for the one I had for over 6yrs.

I bought this to replace my older version that stopped scrolling after 9 years. I have 8 monitors paired with it, and they all synced right away when I installed the batteries. This newer version constantly shows readings from the remotes that you designate 1, 2 and 3, and cycles through the rest in the 4th, bottom position. And a cool feature is that it’ll show the battery strength in each remote. Nice upgrade!

This console replaced an old Ambient sensor reader that died. The moment I put batteries in, this device picked up each of three sensors I use outdoors on my property. Since the dip switch settings were set for sensors 1,2, and 3 separately, in a matter of minutes I could see all weather readings from all 3 sensors (plus indoor temp) simultaneously. All 4 on the one screen. An excellent improvement: the old one rotated through the reads, displaying each sensor sequentially, so it was not as useful for comparing temps around the property and it was relatively more time consuming. It also displays the battery level of each remote sensor and has other features noted in the product description. I very much like this new unit. However I took off one star. The readouts line by line are much smaller and the background for the LCD characters is dim. The characters are well defined and with good enough contrast, so it’s not weak batteries causing hard viewing. It’s designed with small numbers on a dim background. I can’t see the displays in just a glance. I have tried it with the freshest batteries I could find. It immediately acquires the signals. It’s accurate and useful. And too small and dim to read comfortably. Still willing to recommend it for its flawless performance. Sad it isn’t easier to read. A good value and easy to set up.

I use the WS-10 with the F007TP (Temperature Probe) to see my pool temperature without going outside. Not only can I tell if it's warm enough for my taste, I can watch the temperature as it goes up and down over night, with and without the solar cover, after I add water, etc. I use an F007T for the air temperature near the pool. I can then make my swimming decisions! It's 8:00 pm, sun almost set - should I go swimming? Water temp is 82, but the air temp is 70? Ooh, that can be chilly when you're not submersed. Water is 82, but the evening air temp is 88? Oh, yeah. that'll be nice! After a couple of weeks noting the temps, going in the pool and noting how it feels to you, you can pretty much tell what water/air temp combos are comfortable for you. The WS-10 + the F007TP + the F007T is a great combo that has served me well for years. I've had to replace the F007TP once, but it's well worth the convenience. It's a good product IMO. Also, I havc called the company when I get confused about how to connect the remote thermometers and I got good customer service.

Very basic, but works great over many years. Four locations for humidity as well.
