So I got the Lg 650 monitor @ approx 20.5k against the sale price of 27k during the recent Amazon sale, it includes the GST benefit and the CC discount.I have attached this monitor to my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro Evo Laptop on 1 port and iPad Air on the 2nd port, the 4K output is simply amazing, the texts and images are crisp and 4K video quality is brilliant.The monitor doesn’t have inbuilt speakers so I am using B&O portable speakers which I already had and paired it to my laptop.It comes with 2 HDMI cables and they are of top quality and gives proper 4K signals.The monitor stand is height adjustable and the installation of the stand hardly takes 2 minutes out of the box.I was previously using a 24 inch 1080p monitor and switching to 27 inch felt a bit intimidating in the beginning, but after 2 days you don’t feel any difference, the 4K screen and slim bezel makes a world of difference.It’s a definite go if you are looking for a 27 inch 4K monitor.

Overall, this monitor is good, but it does have some limitations. Firstly, it has HDMI Version 1.4, so you can't get 10-bit over HDMI. The matte panel also has slightly less contrast than other models. Out of the box, the colors might not be accurate, so calibration is necessary for color-critical work. One standout feature is the ability to create an advanced color profile using any spectrometer, as the maximum brightness is 400 nits, supported by most spectrometers. However, the viewing angles are not great, with reduced contrast when viewed from certain angles at less than 5 feet away. The stand is on the larger side, which can be a drawback on standard-size tables, as it leaves less space for other items like laptops. Additionally, this monitor does not have built-in speakers, which can be confusing as there are several monitors with similar names on Amazon. For those considering this model, I recommend considering the newer LG-27UQ850W. It features decent speakers, type-C connectivity, and an improved matte panel for better contrast. The convenience of being able to output display and charge your laptop simultaneously, while also connecting keyboard and mouse is hard to beat.

I bought this LG monitor just a week ago, and the day after the Amazon return period ended, a green line appeared on the display. I immediately contacted Amazon, but they refused to help and asked me to reach out to LG. When I contacted LG, they said they won’t replace the monitor, only the display, even though it’s under a 3-year warranty.I expected better support from both Amazon and LG. It’s frustrating to spend good money on a product that starts malfunctioning so quickly, only to be told nothing can be done. This kind of issue shouldn't happen with a brand-new monitor, and it definitely shouldn’t be this hard to get proper support.Defective just after return window – horrible support!This is beyond frustrating. I bought this LG monitor, and literally the day after the return window closed, a green line appeared on the screen. I contacted Amazon – they washed their hands off. LG? They refused a replacement and offered only a display change, despite the 3-year warranty.Why should I accept a “repaired” product when I paid full price for a new one?Never expected this from LG. Never expected Amazon to back off so easily either. Total disappointment. Buyers, beware.

This is my first 4k monitor and the experience was awesome.This one has type C port and speaker inbuilt.Using it from last two week, found no issue.The display is so crisp that you will feel like this is oled screen.

Wonderful monitor

1- I first plugged it to my XBox despite knowing that it 60Hz display2- Played a 4K video that has lot of green snakes (by this time every 4k enthusiast has seen that over and over)- Absolutely stunning results gorgeous looking display (using the in box provided HDMI cable)- Provided HDMI cable is capable of rendering 4K at 60Hz when used with Xbox3- Tried playing NFS, XBox detected a 4K display and wanted to enable special feature, went ahead did it- It's good but not really meant for gaming, for more than one reason- For gaming a full HD TV with 100Hz refresh rates is more than enough (a Full HD TV would be more value for money if sole objective is to play games )4- Plugged in to Linux laptop using provided HDMI cable (TypeC->Hub->HDMI->Monitor)- First impressions1. Nice display2. 4K is stuck at 30Hz3. Everything has lot of whitespace all of a sudden and everything looked very tiny4. 60Hz with one lower setting was best in this case5- Plugged into my windows laptop that already handles 4K like a pro- First impressions1. Flawless, perfect colours & scaling2. With HDMI the refresh rate is still stuck with 30Hz (not bad, can live with it but that's not one wants)Display port cable in my opinion is as waste as the CD provided, as most of the HUB and laptops won't have display port. That cable has display port on both ends what a bummer and wasteful thing.I have ordered a 60Hz type-c to HDMI cable, shall update if I can get 4K @ 60Hz with that. (Works)Nothing wrong with provided HDMI cable but your HDMI port in hub or laptop might be capped at 4k@60Hz so get the right cable accordingly.Very good for reading comfort and watching videos.It would be much helpful if type-c to HDMI or type-c to display port cable is included in box
