Simple no frills but elegant looking muddler thingy. I'm new to making cocktails at home so I grabbed this to expand my kit. It's meant to help with releasing flavours from fresh ingredients used like citrus fruits, mint and berries that you may add to your drinks.The stainless steel handle is smooth with a slight dip in the centre which adds for comfort. The base isn't rubber, it feels like a hard plastic with a slightly grainy texture to it. The ridged base isn't too deep as you're not meant to pulverise the fruits but only release the oils and juices and I think it does that well. As said before, this is a no frills product with one purpose and it works. There's no case or box for it included, just the tool.

Well-sized and well made muddler that's handy for things other than cocktails, it makes a good impromptu garlic crusher when you're cooking for example. It's got a nice weight to it and it's long enough to reach the bottom of a moderately sized cocktail shaker or a not-too-high hi-ball glass. Feels good in your hand and the hard criss-crossed crusher end feels a bit safer against glass than metal would but it's still capable of doing damage, though mostly to soft fruit and mint leaves.It's one of those things you probably didn't realise how much you needed until you got one. It's not suitable for putting in the dishwasher, though it doesn't explain why, but that's the only disadvantage to this really useful and multipurpose tool.

This BarBits cocktail muddler is a thing of beauty! I chose the copper (it’s copper plated steel) and it gleams in a classy, understated kind of way, a perfect contrast against my chrome cocktail shaker and multiple gin bottles.It’s long enough and strong enough to crush ice, fruit, herbs, berries. The serrated base does a great job. It’s not just great for the look of it - the aroma and flavours that are released are just wonderful.So far it’s made the best mojito ever (repeatedly!) Am looking forward to extending our repertoire.This would also make a great gift for any cocktail lover. The usual current price of £10.95 feels fair to me, but its also on offer at the moment. Love it.

We already owned a cocktail muddler as we do like a Mojito, but this one looks much nicer than ours.The copper is very shiny and looks good if left on the side. It i made from stainless steel, but is copper plated, looks great though.It isn't super weighty, but it is solid and the rubber end seems solid, and more serrations for muddling than ours.All in all, at £8.95, I think that this is well made and seems good value for money.

This stainless steal muddler is a great tool. I make jugs of mojito in parties and this tool has been so helpful. You can hold it easier and it smashes the ingredients quicker. Definitely a good one to have if you do loads of parties. In Ramadan this was my daily use and it made making mojitos a breeze
