Q: Will the rug start to pill or clump after it has been washed a number of times? The top fibers look like they could.

I’ve washed mine three times now, and it still looks like new. It’s in front of the daybed in my office, and I even feed one of our dogs on it, and it vacuums beautifully. Note that the design is on top of a very plush fiber, so it has a boho, vintage look about it.

Q: I bought the lahome tribal mat. the ends just refuse to lay flat due to tight packaging. any suggestions?

Dear Customer, Packing and shipping of your rug may cause temporary creases, these surface waves are not imperfections or damages and will gradually recede. Here are some ways to solve your problem: 1. Reverse roll the rug, let it set for a day or two. 2. Flatten the rug by applying weight. 3. Apply carpet tape. 4. Place the rug outside in the sunlight for a few hours. 5. A clothing steamer on the lowest setting and put a damp tea towel down. Must steam the back of the rug. Q: Could you put this under an office chair with wheels? I don’t love the plastic office floor protectors and this rug matches my home office!

It probably would not work well. I can see it bunching up when you move the chair.

Q: Has anyone used one in a bathroom?

It slides very easily because it’s so light weight which is great for throwing in the laundry, but you need to put an anti slip mat under it. They’re beautiful and easy care though.
