Hangsun Ultrasonic Retainer Aligner Denture Cleaner for A Pair of Regular-Sized Dental Appliances Cleaning with Detachable Tank

I always get FOMO on Black Friday and end up buying stuff that I don't necessarily need. I came across this item when I was searching to see if Retainer Brite was on any sort of offer (it wasn't). I didn't even know Ultrasonic Cleaners were a thing but I can't resist a deal and as someone who wears clear retainers every night I thought I'd give it a go and WOW. Legitimately the best 'nonsense' purchase I've ever made, and it ain't even nonsense. My retainers look BRAND NEW. I mean, they looked /okay/ when I soaked them in Retainer Brite, but after putting them in this machine it genuinely looks like I've just picked them up from the dentist.I love it. If you're a regular retainer wearer I cannot recommend this enough. First time I used it with a Retainer Brite tablet for an extra deep clean (and will likely do so once every 1-2 weeks) but otherwise just plain old water has been working a treat.

I got this for my retainers as I never felt I could get them properly clean. Ran this with one of the provided cleaning tablets for the 5 minutes timer and it's as if I just picked them up from the dentist.Definitely worth it. Worked great, and super easy. Also not too big so sits out without taking up too much space :)

It makes a weird noise, and its really hard to know whether it or the cleaning tablets you put in with it is doing the cleaning. Assuming an "ultrasound" though, I assumed one wouldnt be able to hear the machine working, but you cant see any reverberations in the water and in said you have this weird buzzing noise, but otherwise I really dont know. The end result though is that my retainers come out clean, hence the rating.

The media could not be loaded. It was good while it worked (excellent cleaning), but it stopped working after just 10 months of once weekly use. Now it starts the sonication for 1s but stops immidately. It is not a cheap product to be able to just buy a new one every year, not to mention the environmental impact of that. I am very disapointed and I am now worried that all of the similar prodcts will be equally shoddy.

I got this for cleaning my Invisalign aligners. I assume this machine is doing a vibration of sorts, not that any vibration could be seen. With some of the more expensive models (that don’t need the cleaning tablets) you can visibly see the bubbles caused by the vibrations. None of that with this product.Positives - The machine is easy to use, a simple on/off button which switches itself off after the 5 minutes cleaning time.Negatives - it’s unnecessarily bulky and quite noisy. You still have to use the cleaning tablets. I’m not sure the machine got my aligners any cleaner than by using the tablets alone. I wish I’d gone for a more expensive model, as with the cost of tablets the cost would’ve evened out over a year.

Been using awhile now and I’m very pleased with the results. Tried it on jewellery and work just as well on those.
