Wood Soap Mold Loaf Cutter Mold with 1pcs Wavy & Straight Planer Cutting Tool Set (1 INCHES)

I was nervous to purchase this after the negative comments, but decided to take a chance. It came in good shape and was packed well. I've only done one batch of soap in it so far, but it was easy to use. The wavy edge cutter worked better than the straight, but I think that has to do with the fact that the mold was still moist and it naturally wants to stick to a flat surface. Either way, no problems so far!

I make soaps as a business, and used a ruler to mark the bar cuts before. I finally broke down and got this, and it is so much better. Evenly cut, uniform bars, quick and easy.

I truly wish I would of read the reviews vs. looking at the stars!!! If I could give negative stars, I certainly would. If I could ask for not only a refund, but also request a repayment for the out of pocket expense (and time) that I lost for the soap that was ruined by using this product, I would then possibly be satisfied. Lets start with the fact that this is VERY cheaply made. The bamboo wood had cracks in it, as well as gaps in the seams. Additionaly, the slots are "short" once I took my soap out of the slicer box, I still needed to use a knife to finish cutting the bottom (my soaps are only 2.5" in height). To add insult to injury on this already cheaply made box, I then found that I had to go through almost every single slice of soap to pull off wood "slivers" that had been embeded into my soap - this happened when I sliced my soap, the blade "slivered" off pieces of the wood, that then went directly into my soap. The concept of this item is absolutely fantastic, however the finished product is an absolute failure, this company should be embarressed to sell it as is!! I will be returning it!!!

The blade cut through my soap easily. You will have to cut the bottom of your soap after you are done slicing the bars. The slots on the cutter don't go all the way down. This isn't too much of a problem for me. Wipe your blade off after cutting each bar of soap. This will make the cutting easier, and your soap will look smoother and cleaner. I learned this after cutting my 4th bar. Other than that, it's pretty good for the price.

Slots were not cut uniformly. The sides were loose and end piece almost broke away. I ended up having to glue the sides and the piece broken. The slots also do not go all the way down, does not cut the soap all the way through. I felt that it was packaged good with foam all away around the product.

I i’m a beginner. This is the very first one I ever bought or used. And it worked exactly how I needed it too! Blades are nice!

Just what I needed to cut the 5lb chunks of soap I buy. Other than a few creaks when I cut my first slices, the wood is sturdy. The blades do a nice job cutting with minimal effort. As for cleaning, just run it under water and let it dry. Nice product.

That one ripply cutter made the purchase worth it. Plain colour soaps look gorgeous using it, especially if the trace is a little thicker and you can texture the top. No issues with the cutter frame, haven't used the straight cutter yet but hard to go wrong there.

I was so excited to receive this but when I opened the package, it was broken :(
