As reliable as usual
I have an Odorstop UV on my HVAC and the previous bulb fised after continuous 1+ year usage. I think they are rated for a 10K hours or about 410 days. I am going to check every few months anyway. However rather than buying some unknown brand with names that a kindergartner typed, it is good to use a name brand that is not very expensive and can be contacted if needed. I presume their source also tests the product before sending it. That need not be the case with a cheap product which is like a lottery at times.

Bulbs dont last, some come broken on delivery
I have to agree with some of the other reviewers of this product line. What a fantastic design and filling a great need. But very poor execution. I've ordered 4 of the OS70PRO systems in the last year. All four have stopped working. Two were returned and exchanged and those stopped working too a short top after I installed them. I suspect ballast issues in the design. As for these bulbs, several I received were broken on delivery and others I purchased failed after only a week or two of use. These bulbs just won't last. It's true that you don't want to cycle them on/off repeatedly as that reduces bulb life, but what I have witnessed here is just poor product implementation. Both on the OS product line and these knock-off (they seem to be repackaged Philips or other third-party) bulbs. Very disappointed.

Replacement ultraviolet lamps for your UVC air filtration device
Provides for high intensity illumination UVC light for the airstream. This is the 16-in long tube model. It fits the original device. Exactly. The duration is rated to be 15,000 hours or approximately 550 days. You should plan to replace them on an annual basis

UV light for duct work.
Make sure you buy the one that turns the unit off. The unit you need is the one that has the airflow sensor in the duct work, this way the unit shuts off when the blower shuts off.... Less money spent on bulbs....Install note. Make sure if you have insulation in your duct, it doesn't impede the air flow sensor (the little wire on the inside side of the mount), mounted on one of the holes or your unit may not turn on... Cut away this insulation so there is ample flow around the sensor. Unit works well. A bit of a smell the first few hours, but later cleared up and now smells great... ((dust burn off) in duct work)

They Last About 1 Year
The bulbs only last about a year so by installing the Odor Stop. My experience over the last three years has shown me I need to budget for two of these bulbs a year (my Odor Stop model uses 2 bulbs).

Buy something else.
We had an Odorstop for a couple years. Bulbs do not last more than 1 year maybe closer to six months. Our Unit just stopped working and went with something else. We had just bought these bulbs. Wanted to return them... NonReturnable! Find a different company and model don't buy the Odorstop unit. Expensive, high maintainence, don't last.

fantastic product
purchased and installed in early march to assist with eliminating viruses/bacteria etc... Also purchased extra UVC bulb for this unit (have yet to need it). Have been running this unit 24/7. Easier installation than expected, however, you should have some mechanical ability or get assistance. Recommend having speed tape when you cut into the air handler that may have insulation on the backside. Also make multiple copies of the Template prior to starting because the HOLE SAW will rip the template apart. There is a YouTube video on this but you may have to modify per your air handler. After all said and done and you start your unit you may smell a mild to moderate scent of Ozone3 which will quickly dissipate. We had no issues thus far.
