Sized wrong I think...
Bought for Kindle HD 8 expecting same good experience as the one i have for my iPhone X which has been great. On the iPhone, the Screen protector is sized perfectly (lays just inside the phone edges) and they provide a template so that you can get the film perfectly aligned. With the Kindle film, there is no template so you have to eyeball it. The size of film (in my opinion) is just slightly TOO large so that it makes it difficult to align exactly right. For me, one side of the film would not adhere all the way due to it being so close to the edge of the device. Also the hole for the camera is very small, so there is very little margin to shift that. If the camera hole were a tiny bit larger and the overall size of film just slightly smaller, it would be so much easier to get a good fit, but as it is it doesn't work very well. I'll leave it on for now until i can find something better.

Love it, but it's a challenge to install.
Well, even though I followed the instructions to the letter, the " glass did not adhere properly. I still ended up with "bubbles." I did the best I could to get rid of them but nothing helped. I did not contact the company but I was amazed when I got home from a trip, that they had sent me a new one. This time, I worked harder at getting it right and when there was a bubble at the end of my efforts i carefully lifted the glass up to the point and put it down pressing with my fingers in the direction of the lift. It still wasn't perfect, so I used my palms and fingers and pressed towards the sides until all the bubbles were gone. It took some time and patience but it is now adhering correctly and I am very glad I have it. P.S. The card they send to press the bubbles out is, in my opinion, a waste. Fingers and form pressing worked a lot better.Thank you to the company for sending me a new one!

This is the easiest to install ever!
I have installed literally dozens of screen protectors and I am the queen of air bubbles all up in my stuff. I have done the normal ones, the ones with liquid sprays to help adhere, and glass ones, for phones and kindled and handheld game systems. I have started steaming up the bathroom with the shower bc that's supposed to help with keeping dust particles out. Whatever. I never get it right .This tho....i got perfect the first time. I got a brand new kindle and took it out of the factory packaging as soon as I was ready to put on the screen protector. I read over the instructions and oh man THERE ARE TABS to hold the protector for install. That's awesome. Nearly perfect application, there was a giant bubble towards the bottom and the applicator they give you is pretty weak so it wasn't up to the task but a credit card did the job.

Too thick 4 quick response with my favorite micro fiber tip stylus & causes hand pain.
Too thick to work easily with the newer microfiber tip stylus (my favorite to use). I must press stylus much harder, against screen, to get a response. Now, playing my games and using screen keyboard to write reviews is slow, aggravating, and even painful since I have carpal tunnel in both hands. Three days ago, I got a couple very small scratches on the glass when my little pup walked on it. I don't notice any change to performance of screen due to the scratches. I also filed my pup's claws. Used this protector for 2 months, but I'm now ordering another brand glass protector that is .26 thick vs this one which is .33. thick. I need much better response to my stylus than I get from this brand. Maybe I'll start getting some decent game scores again.

Stick with it!
I was concerned at first during installation, because of my experience with screen protectors and bubbles. Ugh.And as I was putting this product on my new Fire HD 8 (fits perfectly!) those dreaded bubbles appeared. Lots of "raking", bubble chasing, and smoothing followed.I almost gave up but decided to finish. As it turned out, the bubbles I saw were between the screen protector and its own protective film which you remove during installation.Long story short, it looks great and installed easily, and covers entirely. Great product! My only suggestion may be to give more warning in instructions about the bubbles that appear on the surface of the film not really being underneath it. I bet a lot of folks get frustrated (as I did) and give up or return.

Still the best protectors that I have ever used.
Fantastic screen protector. I purchased this based off of the quality from amFilm's Nintendo Switch glass protector, and this was every bit as great. After 6 months of using my last protector, it has held up perfectly without a single scratch. Just like with their other products, this one comes with cleaning cloths, dust removal stickers, and best of all, tabs on the side of the protector so that you can look at the Fire straight on and drop it perfectly into place. amFilm's protectors are easily the best that I've ever put on devices before and as I said in my last review, I will absolutely be sticking with this company for any future screen protectors that I need.

Easy to Use
I purchased 2 of these screen protectors for my 2 children's Fire HD 8 tablets and both applied easily. We followed the instructions exactly and installation was a breeze. We even had to pull one of them up one time and put it back on because we accidentally didn't have it on straight and it went back on just fine with no bubbles or problems. I highly recommend the product. There is no wait time between application and being able to use the tablet, which is really nice. Our covers for our cell phones and other tablets had to sit overnight before you were supposed to use the device.

No bubbles!
I have now purchased 3 of the amFilm screen protectors. 1 for my Pixel 2, 1 for my Kindle Fire 8, and 1 for my Kindle Fire 7. I LOVE THESE SCREENS. They are extremely easy to install and bubbles will only appear if you have debris on the screen because that debris keeps the screen from adhering to the device fully (duh). I even put one on my daughter's Kindle Fire 8 because she cracked her screen by accident and it had no bubbles until it got to the cracks (duh) but even then it was better than the actual screen! Now I'm not worried about her scratching her finger on the screen when she plays and the crack is in the bottom left of the device so it is really out of the way.
