Very sturdy forceps and set overall. Impressed by the quality of the equipment. I was able to precisely work on my silhouette frames myself, after being twice at the optical shop only to break up again. Highly recommended.

it is a good tool,but my prescription is too high and lens are very thick at the edge, the demolition tool wont work. If it can open wider, I will give a five star rating.

Product has everything needed to replace Silhouette frames. Saves a lot of time, hassle, and money. I watched a YouTube video on exactly how to do it. Bought frames on eBay, tools on Amazon, and YouTube--saved a bundle over what the optometrist shop was going to charge me. This tool set paid for itself with one pair of frame replacement. And will keep it for the inevitable future frame replacement. Comes with a dozen spare compression bushings, too.

I bought this kit to fix one of the "arms" of my rimless glasses which I had bought quite a while back. I was first of all pleasantly surprised to see that this kit was delivered same day. While, as pointed out by other reviewers, the kit did not come with instructions, there are plenty of DIY videos online that will help out with using the kit.Me personally, I figured out how to use the kit to replace the entire frame using youtube videos. The kit also comes with compression sleeves. I had purchased a set separately on amazon just to be sure i had the right size, but actually the ones that came with the kit fit just fine for my frame.I had purchased the frame online from a separate vendor and was able to replace the entire frame for my current glasses in less than 30 minutes.If I can also order my prescription lenses online, I will never buy the frame again from any vision provider ever again. They are a total rip off. I had actually gone to Pearle Vision from whom I purchased the frame originally to fix the broken arm and they turned me back saying that they did not stock that frame anymore.This kit is a life saver.

The crimper and punch tool are decent quality but the removeable crimper bit is of poor quality. The cutter is useless and can not make a clean cut. Use quality nail clippers instead.Instructions would be nice but you can watch YouTube for instructions. Some pieces I have no idea what they are for. A big thumbs up for the right size sleeves for Silhouette frames.
