I use mine to keep random letters and snacks. Works perfect for me and the large size is a bonus. Looks very cool too although as some have already said it doesn't feel heavy duty but for this price only a fool would have expected that.

My friend has a memory box and I loved the concept so I purchased this for mine. It’s a good size, close to the size of a shoebox I’d say. I love the look of it, you can just imagine finding it in the back of the closet full of letters and good memories. Feels sturdy enough and the handles are useful for moving it around or getting it off of a shelf. I did buy a used one that came in good condition though the handles were a little sticky, but a quick wet wipe took care of it. Very happy I have a cute box to hold my sentimental trinkets!

This treasure chest is well put together. There is a lot of attention on the details of this box. As many reviewers have observed, the walls / wood material is thin, so it would not be advisable to put really heavy items in this box. However it makes a fantastic candy distributor, play chest for kid’s “pirate treasures”, or other light items. This chest doesn’t lock per se but does have a functional latch. If security matters, this isn’t the treasure chest you’re looking for. Rather this makes for a fine decorative treasure box where aesthetics and attention to detail in design matter, but don’t horde your pirate gold and sail the high seas expecting it to stand up to wear and tear. Some reviewers note inconsistency in quality… I must have gotten a good one because I am pleased with the quality overall for how it is priced.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Beyond my expectations! For the price I thought it would be cheaply made, but it's quite sturdy. It's a perfect treasure chest for a young child.

Cute used in a steam punk wedding

I love this small box! I keep my pills, and my diabetes meter / supplies. It is sturdy and very roomy inside. It sits nicely next to my end table in my frontroom. The hinges are metal and very secure. Would definitely buy again, but l think this one will last me a while.

Total junk …. Save your money . Product arrived broken and with chips. Planned to use in my classroom but unable to due to sharp pieces inside that are from staples holding it together . The product was also still sticky from the varnish .

Cute but extremely thin wood. If this was $20 it would be worth it. Cannot hold much weight as the bottom is very thin. Assembly is a bit cheap but the hardware and color is adorable. If you just need it to look cute, this will work. If you need it to be sturdy or standup to being used regularly look for something else.
