The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (PS5)

Not the best game I've played but not the worst got it for a great price so worth it

I really thought I was going to like this game but after an hour off tedious sneaking and jumping it it just got boring, the story was boring, the voice actor for gollum I didn't really like and it had numerous bugs and visual problems, worst LOTR game by far!!

I’d heard all the negativity about Gollum and the game was only £18.00 so I thought this is either going to be a good laugh for how bad it is or reviewers are really bashing because it’s fashionable.I’ll be honest it’s nowhere near as bad as it’s being made out to be. The level design is dated no question about that but I’m actually finding the story relatively interesting and Gollum himself as a character is reasonably fleshed out.Is this a good or great game no probably not but for under £20.00 I can say it’s at least worth a play through.

Has its faults but if your a Lord of the Rings fan like me you'll enjoy it.

The controls for this game are frequently unresponsive, especially when crawling, making it very frustrating. You also can’t save the game part way through a level, therefore if you have time to complete a full level, you have to start the entire level again next time you come to play it. The story is ok, but not the best I’ve played.

My grandchildren play this game whenever they call in for a visit
