BowFlex SelectTech 2080 Barbell with Curl Bar

It’s definitely worth the money with the Black Friday offers, otherwise very expensive. I ordered the expansion pack when it went on offer. In terms of use, it’s great:- -easy to use and adjust weights -the bars (adaptors) are comfortable to the hold and good size for different type of exercise -space saving (you don’t really need to pay more for the stand) -if your weight training, you can definitely make use out of it for each day for different muscles.

Everything about this product is quality. Putting it together was a dream compared to some products I've had over the last few years. It was so easy. I already had the dumbbells which I picked up during lockdown and they were so good i had my eye on this. It takes up a bit more space than the dumbbells but its so good. The changing of weight is so quick, easy and smooth (make sure you read the instructions around lining up the bar and weights when first setting up).

Purchased this product twice and had to return them on both occasions to difficulty plates adjustment . Not the easiest thing to configure and setup with respect to the plates on the stand although it’s perfectly aligned to the bar. The dials seemed to get misaligned and unable to catch the other plates. You’ll get no support from Amazon to help you set it up as they are unable to send out an engineer. Do not buy ….

Item seems like a great idea but got issues with the selector within a week of using the product. Good selection of weight ranges, felt sturdy in the hands when the weight was selected. Unfortunately didn't function flawlessly resulting in frustration and a return of product

I love this piece of equipment, it’s really added a lot to my work outs and combined with the ST 1090 dumbbells there’s very little other equipment I feel I’m missing from a gym. The bars feel good in your hands and it’s relatively easy to re-rack, though getting the spacing right for the stand was a bit of a pain. I bought the 40lb upgrade too, so it’ll be a while before I max out my weights. I do wish it went higher than 120lbs (with upgrade) but I understand why. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to expand your home gym for anyone who’s not a power lifter/advanced lifter who needs more weight.

Perfect in home gym for someone like myself who doesn’t have a lot of room or designated room for working out. Super simple to use and put together, multiple different workout opportunities, slim design, functions even better then I thought it would have (thought the plates lining up would be an issue to change weight) but no issue at all with it. 10/10

Nous sommes en présence d'un matériel de qualité avec 1 barre droite et une barre de curl de bonne facture. Le montage est relativement facile, en tout cas plus que le banc de la même marque à mon sens. Il existe une vidéo officielle explicative sur youtube. Elle est en anglais mais je trouve que cela est plus clair que sur une notice. Par contre il faut quelque fois un peu insister pour que les barres rentrent dans les 2 socles à poids mais sinon je n'ai pas grand-chose à redire. Le système de verrouillage des plaques est bien pensé et la sélection des poids est très rapide. Le feeling lors des exercices est plutôt bon j'avais une petite crainte par rapport à ça car il ne s'agit pas de poids circulaires comme sur une barre olympique. Si vous possédez déjà les haltères de la même marque vous allez pouvoir varier un peu plus vos exercices: overhead presses, skull crushers, squats sur épaule etc... il y a par contre quelques bémols: Premièrement le prix. A 800 euros c'est bien trop cher pour ce que c'est. A prendre à moitié prix. Deuxièmement le poids maximum proposé: 36 kilos de base, c'est peut-être assez pour les bras et les épaules mais pas assez pour les jambes. Cela oblige à prendre l'extension de 18 kilos et par conséquent à repasser une nouvelle fois à la caisse. Troisièmement le fait de devoir régler les poids au sol ( je ne possède pas le supportpeut poser problème si l'on veut squatter assez lourd. Tout le monde n'a pas assez de force pour élever 50 kilos par dessus ses épaules et la barre droite n'est pas spécialement conçue pour rentrer dans des cages à squats... pour ma part je place la barre sur 2 chaises lestées de 40 kilos chacune ( j'utilise les fameuse bowflex 1090) et je me place en-dessous pour squatter.... je me demande si je suis la seule personne au monde à faire ça.... En bref c'est un achat à considérer à prix moindre en gardant à l'esprit que le concept est imparfait. Si vous avez de la place chez vous achetez plutôt une barre olympique. Vous pouvez la charger à l'infini. Mais si comme moi vous n'avez pas de place à la maison et que vous faites simplement du renforcement musculaire les bowflex 2080 feront l'affaire. A vous de voir si vous prenez l'extension.

Wer die Boxflex "Armhanteln" kennt, wird diese Langhanteln auch mögen. Der Zusammenbau dauerte ein wenig, aber war immer gut erklärt; und man baut es ja nur einmal zusammen. Das System selber ist sehr stabil, die Rasten funktionieren tadellos. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem System. Man kann auf kleinerem Raum viele Gewichtsvarianten vorhalten für verschiedene Übungen. Beim Einstellen klappert nix; Verarbeitung IMHO sehr gut. Preis- Leistung muss jeder selber beurteilen, deshalb vergebe ich da keine Sterne. Ich selber bin sehr zufrieden. Preiswert, aber nicht billig!
