Pricey for the AH rating but I needed a second battery and it's acceptable
All these power tool batteries are so expensive for what they typically are: BMS tied to a small number of mid-low tier 18650s. However, I have a few HPT tools and needed a second battery, as I've been using the 1.5AH that came with my drill for 10-15 years, back when it was just Hitachi. That battery is still working okay but the capacity is lacking and I need something to trade off with when it runs out.This battery is fine. It's a typical sort of price for a standard, single-voltage HPT battery. It seems to provide more current to the tool than my old 1.5AH and lasts longer. I've tried knock-off batteries in the past and have been sorely disappointed with them, so I only buy official batteries like this one. I'd recommend you do not buy aftermarket batteries unless they are made by a reputable company or unless you are trying to find a tool battery that is no longer manufactured.

Lasted a little over 4 months
Received 4/23/25 . Worked well until it didn't, and died on 8/2/25 .
