Sturdy. Good value. Easy to clean.
Very sturdy. Easy to clean. Well made. We have two freezers full and expect to use this for years. Large size. We do big batches and have to fill it a few times but that is easy. Plus a bigger one would be hard to store and move around. Great product.

IT WORKS FOR ME !!
the only assembly required was the handle! I liked the quality of the unit, it seems well made, and was a heavier gage metal than I thought, which is a good thing! the only problem I see with all of the stuffers, not just this one, is where are the handles or handle to move the it with??? how about one on each side of the base, or one handle at the top, of course the gear shaft has to go up and down, and it would have to be a handle with a whole in it to allow for that. the 5 stuffing horns worked out real well, good diameter and length, and the churro disks is an added feature! there is no gasket on the nut to hold the tubes on, maybe for food safety reasons, and it comes with an extra main gasket, a real plus in my book. it seems heavy enough not to move with using it, and there are 4 rubber feet that fit real well on the base, or u can use the pre-drilled to bolt down to a counter. the manual does not have the address of the company, in California printed on it anywhere, but the package does. it is as follows:Hakka Brothers Corp. 1600 Worldwide Blvd. , Hebron, Kentucky 41048 or 23482 Foley St., Hayward, California. 94545 there is a exploded view of the different models in the manual, and parts numbers, but it doesn't give any address where to them from, and a warranty card but no address where to send it to either. designed in the usa, made in china ! there is also a bottle brush for cleaning, and it has an Air Vent on the plunger which unscrews for easy cleaning, and the cylinder tilts for easy reloading of meat and cleaning. the base is not solid, its hollow, but if it needs more weigh, that can be filled in with some S.S. welded in. The base is 12" wide x 9" deep and the unit is 20" tall. it is 2 speed and the handle can only go on the right side as shown in the photo. the horns have a 2" base. spray the shaft with food grade oil or food grade grease.

very well made!
I just received this & used it for the first time!It took a very long time to come [over a month] but it may be an Amazon issue with where I live & may not be a problem in the lower 48 States. When I opened it I was impressed with the materials & how heavy duty it is built. It is easy to take apart & clean, and easy to use too [I would recommend clamping.to the table - I didn't & it moved around a bit, but it wasn't a big deal.] If you are doing larger batches like a couple pounds or more it is great, if you are doing multiple smaller.batches of different things you will spend a little extra time getting the rest of the meat from previous batch through [I got 3 soft rubber eggs made to help with this that help push the meat through & they helped quite a bit.] If your doing a bigger batch like 5+ pounds you will be able to crank it out very quickly - if it doesn't crank out easily add more water & it shoulld really help.

Great lower priced option
Works good, quality built. Packaging is good enough to use as storage box. Requires 2 people as person cranking will need both hands, one to crank and one to hold upright.

Doing great

Sturdy and Stainless Steel!
Bought this to finally upgrade from using a LEM jerky cannon(which itself is still great, just needed more capacity) for jerky, sausage, etc.The capacity is slightly shy of listed(~1lb), but beats having to refill the cannon after every 1.3lbs. The variety and length of the included horns were the second big selling point for me, as I can go from making jerky/ snack sticks with the smallest, to filling large casings in under a minute. The frame itself is sturdy, and being stainless steel, should hopefully provide years of use, however, the included rubber feet for the base, are a bit of a pain to install. With the removable cylinder(as well as the top plate/ gasket/horns) being easy to remove, cleaning/ sanitizing is a breeze.Overall, having processed approx. 100lbs of various meat through it so far, I'm impressed with it. You'll need to watch out for height clearance when raising the rack to install/remove the cylinder. The only negative I see, is a lack of ambidextrous control handle installation, which would make it easier for placement/use (since some of us meat guys are left-handed)

Huge upgrade from a grinder powered stuffer!
I don't process sausages and brats very often, but when I do it is typically in 15 or 30 pound batches. Previously I used the stuffing attachment for my grinder, but it was a pain to operate, resulted in lots of broken cases, and took significantly more time and effort to use/clean.This stuffer has smoothly operating gears and unlike a grinder attachment, allows very fine control over the flow of meat, which results in fewer broken and improperly stuffed cases. I like the fact that everything the meat touches is stainless steel or silicone (I don't use the Churro stuff, which is plastic). The fact that they include an extra gasket is great, since that is probably the first thing that will need replaced. This stuffer is a great size. I can put it on a 6' plastic folding table and everything is easy to reach and operate. Loading the meat is very easy and requires less time verse a grinder because you can load so much in one go and don't need to mess with it once loaded.Cleaning is also very easy since everything disassembles from the frame easily and is all stainless or silicone. Meat left in the stuffer is also minimized and easy to retrieve compared to a grinder attachment. The only downside I have found to this stuffer is that I now need a meat mixer because it is so easy to stuff 30 pounds of brats in a night, but mixing that much by hand sucks.
