I had the only ceramic ones in the bathroom and one cracked after many years. Since in the bathroom, I ordered these. It was near impossible to install this. First, there should be holes in the glass and the holders should go through the glass. The way it is, one needs a second hand for the holders. The holders are not secure. Second, the glass and the heater should be round-edged to prevent accidents. If there is a draft forget about getting any heat. The electrical plugs should be flat. The improvement is the Philips screws.

You need to read the instructions here and watch the videos because there is no installation book or user manual. Does not come with the temperature control, have to purchase that separately. Only works with 2.4 ghz wifi not 5. The corner brackets to hold the heat shield are embedded into the styrofoam packing frame so get them out before you throw it away. Template for mounting worked good. Mounting hardware seems firm. IF it is as energy efficient as they say I will be pleased with my purchase.

It does smell. I left it in garage for a few days after unpacking, then plugged in (in garage standing up against metal toolbox. It gets very warm) for a day. Still had an odor. Primed and painted front, back, and mounting hardware so it would blend in better with the wall and the smell is gone. It works very well as a supplemental heater for our corner guest room that is always cooler than the rest of the house (2 1/2 exterior walls). We bought the 250W for a room around 30' X 20'. We turned it on a day prior to use. I am using a Wi-Fi controlled wall outlet and it turns off at 8am and on at 6pm now when in use and disable when not in use. Will work well so long as it holds up over time.

I work in an insulated barn in Northern California that's fairly drafty. I put this right next to my desk and it radiates some really nice heat keeping me warm all day. It doesn't heat my entire barn which is probably around 200 ft² but it does a nice job of keeping me warm as long as I stay nearby

This heating panel is solid and well made. Packaging was good and the installation instructions were fine. HOWEVER; I do NOT recommend using the drywall anchors they included. I should have known better but used them anyway and ended up with 1/2" holes in my wall. (Yes I know how to use wall anchors like this and no I wasn't cranking them in with an over-powered drill.) I ended up having to use toggle bolts and washers to cover these ugly holes as I didn't have a better choice in terms of location. I had to use the holes I'd made. Ok, so including an extra trip to the hardware store this took me about 90 minutes or so to install. Looks good in the end. Things you should know: 1) the 2-foot by 2-foot panel is probably larger than you're picturing in your head. It's more subtle than a free standing heater but it's not invisible by any means. 2) It gets really hot. My installation is next to a toilet in the master bath and man it will heat your bum and thigh as you sit five or six inches from it. (not unpleasant actually!) 3) It seem effective in fixing the temperature problem I have in that bathroom. The forced air furnace heat just doesn't keep that room up to temperature. So I've used one heater or another in that room for many years and this is by far the most effective I've used. That bathroom, for reference, is about 11' X 13'. The panel heats up pretty quickly and takes almost a half hour to lose the heat when the power is turned off. I'd read several reviews complaining about a smell this heater emitted for a while when it was new. I bought this late last winder and let it sit in my garage opened all summer and when I installed it just now for Winter of 2022/23 I didn't find any smell problem. Don't know if there ever was one TBH. Overall i'm happy with the purchase!

OMG, It's me again. It is late Oct. 2020 and I feel compelled to update my review. I do not want to leave the impression that the 4th replacement (due to obnoxious odor) of the EconoHome wall mount heater we purchased is OK. We went through the 2019 winter heating season and were finally happy when our 4th unit finally (or so I thought) operated without an obnoxious odor. We recently turned it on and the obnoxious chemical-type odor has returned. Even without it on, before we started it up this year, the unit started to smell. So - we got one year out of it and have decided enough!! We have taken our 4th replacement unit off our bedroom wall. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone. VERY disappointed. (See the history of our issues from my original review through to this one.) Since I have to have some rating in order to edit my review, I have given it one star - but the product does NOT deserve any stars. I hope others do not have to go through what we have been through - installing and reinstalling.--------------------------------------------As you can read below, my husband & I have been frustrated with an obnoxious odor from the original unit and the 2nd and 3rd replacement units that were delivered to us. Finally, the company sent us a fourth replacement unit that is working just fine - without odor. We did have to run it for a couple of days and then air out the room - but no odor is detectable now. I must say that Customer Service worked hard to resolve the issue for us. The process was frustrating since we mounted and ran 3 unacceptable units before receiving our current (4th) updated unit. I was ready to call it quits, but happy now that the issue has been resolved. This wallmount unit is unobtrusive, does not take up floor space, low wattage, quiet (has no fan) and works well in our environment.__________________________________________________________________________________________So...OMG...cannot believe I am here writing about this unit again (see my review and updates below). Short of it: I would NOT recommend this unit to anyone! We bought it Oct. 2018. It emitted an obnoxious odor - as explained below. The company was quick to send us another unit that they claimed would NOT smell as bad. We received it quickly only to discover it smelled even worse than the first. Contacted the company and they apologized and said there was a mixup - that the unit we received as a replacement was from the wrong batch and again, would send us another. We received the 3rd unit quickly. We were encouraged that this one might work - but since we were heading into warmer months, we have not been using it. Its now November 2019. We turned it on and ... OMG . . .the smell is just as obnoxious if not not worse than the original 2 units. It is mounted in our bedroom. We turned it on, cracked open the windows and turned on our ceiling fan to push the air and obnoxious odor out of the room. We did this on 3 separate days hoping the smell would dissipate, but the unit still emits an obnoxious odor and I would not feel comfortable breathing it in throughout the night - or at all! Hoping there will be no issue with getting our money back on this since we have gone through the process of mounting 3 units, finding a way to "trash" 2 and now have another to trash?, wasting heat and electricity testing over and over again. The only good thing I can say relates to the Customer Service response thus far...our CS person was very responsive and pleasant with each problem unit we have received. Customer service worked hard to resolve the odor issue and i'm_____________________________________I have updated the overall rating stars from 1 to 3 due to the company's efforts to quickly resolve the odor issue noted below. If the odor goes away with the new replacement unit, I will update the overall rating further. I did ask the manufacturer if they could explain what the odor is. The response was: "Our heaters are ETL & IEC approved. UL 2021 & RoHS compliant and we also have some certifications of test agencies." Unfortunately, I have no idea what this means or how it relates to the odor.----------------------------------------------I am updating my review noted below. My husband emailed the company regarding the unacceptable odor. They responded very quickly, sent us a new unit and stated that there were issues with odor in some older units. We have installed the replacement. There is a mild odor (much less than the first unit) which we were told should dissipate after a couple of days use. We appreciate the quick turn-around and hope that indeed the odor will go away shortly.----------------------------------------------------------------Unfortunately I cannot provide a positive review for this heater because of the obnoxious odor it emits. We purchased it in early October 2018 and have been through one winter with it. Although the actual heat it added to our bedroom was satisfactory and the clean modern appearance is lovely in a fairly small room with little floor space, I am VERY concerned about the odor. We ran the unit all winter (2018) and the smell has not gone away. In fact, it is now June 2019 and the unit is shut off. Even with the unit off, it is still emitting a foul odor. The product operating instructions states exactly the following: "The product may exhibit a mild smell due to surface moisture during initial period of consistent operation. Please Keep in mind that this is normal and your heating panel has no detectable VOCs and compliant with required safety standards." If we cannot find resolution, we will soon remove it from our wall.

Tenemos cinco calentadores como estos. Tres ya con años, EconoHome, funcionan perfecto: Ahorran electricidad. Son 100% silenciosos. No resecan el ambiente. Pasan desapercibidos. Los dos que compramos aquí, EconoHeat, hace ya más de un año que siguen despidiendo un olor químico insoportable. Por más que los hemos dejado prendidos, pensando que se eliminaría el olor químico, nunca. Son inservibles y es ya demasiado tarde para devolverlos. El olor nunca desaparece. Lástima, porque no ubicamos los que compramos antes que sí funcionaban. Una pérdida de dinero.

I read previous reviews and knew about the smell before we bought it. It smells bad right out of the box so we took it outside and plugged it in and ran it so that it wouldn't smell up the house. We have done this 2 days in a row and there is still a smell when we turn it on but it is much less than it was on day one. Having said that we are returning it due to the odour that it emits. My husband has lung issues and we just don't feel that it would be good for him given the small space it is in.

Me gusto el producto, aunque antes de instalarlo lo use al aire a libre por un par de semanas ya que habia leido algunas reseñas del olor y asi que decido probarlo en un cuarto de servicio en donde no hay gente y esta afuera de la casa. El olor iba disminuyendo y ya lo decido conectarlo al baño en di de iba a estar. Lleva 3 dias y aun desprende olor. Ya no tanto como Nuevo. Cumple el efecto para lo que se compro pero espero el olor desaparezca en u pocos dias

Esta mal la imagen no viene con el temporizador y el aroma en nuestro caso tardó 3 semanas de 2 hs de uso diario en desaparecer. Esta mal la descripción ya que calienta 120 pies no m2 es decir 36 m2. Por lo demas es un buen producto, estético y casi no estorba. Calienta bien y rapido.

Después de poco más de 2 meses de uso le salieron estas grietas, y así da desconfianza usarlo. El proveedor no contesta, Amazon tampoco ayuda mucho. No lo compren, el precio es muy alto para tan poca calidad y nula atención post venta.
