Very good pencil but the holder clip snapped off
Easy to use but the holder snapped making it useless, woodworking was it daily use

Holder very sturdy and clip for trousers is strong enough not to fall off even in extreme movement
Can't say I have anything to dislike about this pencil

Good initially, now broken
Good product to start with, but now broken. Used to click to advance the lead but this has stopped and the lead won't come out unaided, and when it is out it doesn't stay out when you press to write.

Why didn't I buy this years ago??!
Seriously, I used to go through pencils like they were going out of fashion. It was very a common occurrence where the leads would break or the pencils would be lost in the work area. No more! A much larger diameter of graphite core means less likelihood of breakages, there is a sharpener in the holster meaning no more excessive waste when using a craft blade to cut the tip to a sharp point, and the holster......Best part of this kit. The pencil is always on my belt, and as it clicks into the holster, it is never lost.

Useful addition to the toolbox
Bought this for general DIY and some woodworking. Much better than the ordinary click-to-extend pencils I was using, as the graphite on those constantly break when working with rough grained material. This one is thick enough to be sturdy, but not so wide that it can't be used to mark with accuracy. The integrated sharpener is a nice touch too, so you never have to search for it if you need a touch up.I haven't used the other two inserts - but I imagine they would be useful if working with other materials, like metal or concrete.

So good I bought a spare
Love this so much. I've always used the standard carpenters pencils and made the standard mess every time you try sharpening them.This is probably the best tool I've bought in a long while. So good I don't just use it for work but also for taking general notes and well just about everything really.
