I love watches and clocks - I have loved them since childhood. This pocket watch long necklace is perfect. The artwork on the front is delicate and lovely, the scrollwork on the back is elegant, and the watch itself is nice quality with easy to read features. I saw someone complaining that it's not upside down - this is not a nurse's watch for taking pulse. It's not SUPPOSED to be upside down. It's a pocket watch on a necklace chain. I am 5'5" and the pendant comes to the bottom of my ribcage, front and center. It is the perfect length for a sweater. The metal of the pocket watch and of the chain look to be of a nice quality, not dingy or cheap looking. They look like decent quality silver. At first, I thought the watch battery was dead, but it turned out I needed to push the crown ring, that you adjust to set the time, all the way down to engage the watch so that it would start keeping time. It has a lovely soft ticking that you can hear in a quiet room - just the right level of sound - faint and comforting. I adore my new pocket watch necklace! Thank you for making a good quality product for an affordable price, VIGOROSO! I imagine it sparkles in sunlight! I haven't taken it outside yet.

It arrived in the mail yesterday and is a lot nicer than I expected. The watch feels very solid, has a good weight.I did not buy the watch to wear on my neck. Instead, it hangs from a small hook at eye level in my bedroom. Of course, this is a delicate piece like a small child you just only adore them and trying to keep safe. Overall it's a good product with a nice elegant flowers peony birds painting which is attractive and adorable. I attached some pictures of this piece so you can get an idea before ordering.I give it 4.5 stars just because my expectations were always high and I know the value of gifts and your expectations though.I would recommend this to who is anyone looking for a nice gift or doing as I am, creating a family heirloom for generations to come.

I had ordered a necklace/pocket watch prior to this one. Two days later it quit working, so i returned it. I ordered this watch, and after two weeks, it's still keeping good time. The watch is easy to open and close, and it's easy to read the time. Very nice watch.I only have one complaint ~ the chain is a little too long, in my opinion. However, i would much prefer it to be too long than too short, and it was easily remedied by doubling about 2" of the chain near the ring end, and hooking the clasp through both the original ring end of the chain, and a link in the chain at the length i wanted. The chain is still long enough to go over my head without having to unclasp it every time i put it on.Beautiful watch (both front AND back, and would make a lovely gift. Well worth the price!

Neither watch in this set works and the movement pin comes out and won't go back in to set the time properly. These are beautiful but quite cheap and poorly made; you get what you pay for, I suppose. I'm returning them.

This item is decent enough. In person, it looks some kind of imitation steel alloy - not like silver at all. Those saying it looks like silver probably have limited experience with real silver.The chain looks eh, but for the price it's what you'd expect. I have others that I can use instead.I also really don't like that I received them in the box already working. This means that the battery has been running for who knows how long.Looking at it, I actually prefer the interior of the watch much more than the exterior.While it is a unique looking item, I'm likely to return it. If I saw this in a store, I'd likely pay about $5-10 for it because of the novelty. It's something I would wear more for a costume or give to a teen or kid than of a quality I would ear as an adult.

Beautiful watch and good value for the price. Replaces old Peony Vigoroso pocket watch I had for years that finally died after accidentally going through washing machine and drier for the second time, once right after I first got it then again recently just before I bought this new one. The plate with the picture on it came off both times, but I was able to easily glue it back on. Again, for the price of the watch I wasn't concerned about that part being cheap because the watch worked flawlessly for the 6 or 7 years I had it, even after going through the wash the first time. Battery on the old one needed replaced about every 1-1/2 to 2 years, but easy to replace yourself.

Really pretty,it will be given as a Christmas gift.Quality is good,will probably get a different chain for it,as the one that came with doesn’t look as nice but overall I’m very pleased.
