A decent wax melting device!
It's a very compact, very easy to use wax melting device that does a decent job. My partner and I wanted to dip our toes into the candle making hobby and it has been an almost essential tool for us to do so. It heats up to any temperature up to the max of 257 °F (125 °C) and can hold at that temperature without any issues. If I had to list any problems, I would mention that it is very small, meaning if you're making candles you can really only do one at a time however for jobs where you don't need or want to add color or fragrance, I imagine you would be able to keep the pot topped off with wax as you work on your project.

Efficient and Easy to use
I purchased this to wax seal bottles and I couldn't be happier. It takes a little bit of time to get a pot of beads melted but it melted to a consistent smooth liquid state without overheating. It is very user-friendly and the removable inner pot makes it easy to clean.

Wax burner
The media could not be loaded. I love it does it's job easy to use and quick to melt the wax when you put it 219 F° or higher I do 229 F° to melt faster comes two sets of gloves a tiny basket which is cute and doesn't tilt over while you are using the bucket I love it will recommend my friends it's very safe to use and I have a cat and doesn't bother him very quiet as well don't mind the mess.

Good for Chain Waxing
Bought this to try hot waxing my bike chains; specifically because of the digital temperature control, removable wax pot, and low price. I haven't verified the temp displayed on the thermostat vs. the actual temp of the wax because I don't need it to be super precise.I've used it about a half-dozen times so far, and I have no complaints. It heats up, keeps the wax liquid, fits a bike chain in the pot, and was extremely affordable. I'd definitely buy this again as long as the price stays close to $20.

Geezer finds easy way to do an old thing...
As a child, it was my job to saw wedges of cheese off the big wheel when another was needed. Then I resealed surface with wax that my mom (CAREFULLY) had ready for me.OK. Long thermometer, steel pot in a bigger water pot... No TV back then, so ... OK.This is way more convenient to WAX cheese rather than cling plastic which never quite gets a perfect seal (and mold forms & trimming wastes good expensive cheeses). Small size and temp control. No cleanup. How nice that is.Time to go to the docks and see if another wheel of Reggiano has come in...

Great for making candles small scale.
I make candles, and this is perfect so I don’t have to use my kitchen stove top and can be with my other Art supplies. I love the size as it is super versatile and portable. The price was great compared to other similar products. I love that it is a sleek black color that goes with everything.

Not worth it
Purchased is wax melter to melt the beeswax after harvesting the honey. I even heated the beeswax to drain off any residual honey. Beeswax melts at 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit so this should have worked fine. What a waste of money. Does a poor job at best and now since it has wax all on it I certainly can't return it. Don't waste your money!!
